Does this method drain 100% of the power steering fluid? Other videos state you must remove hose. Turn on the vehicle and turn the wheel. Besides the reservoir, fluid will be in the pump and in the lines. Also, not sure if it was the lighting but your anti-freeze looked pretty dark. Thanks for the video! Much appreciated.
Its not recommended to use ATF to substitute PSF. On a metal on metal design such as the power steering pump heat is a enemy and friction is caused due to the ATF that has additives. There is no bottle of ATF that states can be used to replace power steering fluid.
My truck had 400,000 miles And I was having hard time turning the steering wheel.I added motorkote friction fighter. Now I have a million miles I got no problems.

You used to use Delvac, how come ATF this time?
Hey Vic appreciate the video. You don’t have to change the filter when you do this service?
It’s recommended… get fresh everything. No half ass.
Is it easy to strip that bolt?
Question? My reservoir is full of fluid, but while turning the steering wheel, I hear humming... what could this be
Hey Vic was needing some info and figure your the man I need to talk to
Great video bro.i appreciate what you doing for us out here.👍👍
60 series 👍🏻. The freighliner looks in Top shape lots of new parts 👍🏻🤙🏻
Why did you use trans fluid instead of power steering fluid?
Freightliner uses dextron iii
Cap on or off when you bleed it
off so air can force it out
Another banger vic

On the Cascadia at least models 2014 and 2019, the manuals state only ATF oil meeting Dexron 3, Super ATF, or TES-389.
