teaching others how to energy fight in a clipped spitfire is a interesting choice on you side. Also you could J-out immediately and spawn back in a new plane as long as you are on the af with a undamaged plane.
As this video states, "all air combat is energy combat". Every airplane, from fighters to bombers, has to be mindful of their energy state. Sorry I didn't see this comment earlier. I started out on Japan because low wing loading aircraft are more forgiving to beginners. It's also easier to learn to aim when your aircraft can stick behind a less maneuverable enemy.
