Regarding the plastic welding, I see the rods softening and sticking but am not so sure I'm convinced both parts are melding together as one.

@@iqbala1104 if you're repairing a plastic bumper usually they tell you on the inside what kind if plastic they are, other wise you just have to weld each type of plastic rod until you find the one that 'sticks'
