So happy you got to see 5 of your grandchildren and got to help your son move. My two daughters are renting the house next door. So, DH and I will be empty nesting! I just love your videos! I had the same problem you did with your neck light! It won't connect to the charge correctly. I might just try the one you recommended. Your stitch along with Rainy day reads literature/green stitch along is just wonderful! I love the inspirational Bible verse are doing! I have never tried doing anything bigger than an 18-count, but I love so many of the ones done on the 28 and 32 count linens. I have never stitched on linen either! Happy retirement too! I can't wait till I can have more time to stitch and spend with grandchildren. We are expecting our very first grandchild in January of 2024. So excited. Gender reveal is June 24th! Family is a blessing and Lucy is adorable! Have a wonderful day!

We became empty nesters a little over a year ago and it is an adjustment for sure, but we found our “groove” so to speak and enjoy the time to pursue our hobbies and do household things that have been neglected. I also just finished my Professional Development classes needed before I renew my State License. Heading off in an hour to do fingerprinting. Another requirement for updated license. Always love you projects.

They stay in my bathroom window when not blooming and seem to love the light there (and the bathroom humidity). I may look for an orchid food, but have not tried that yet. I think the bloom maybe twice a year, but it is worth the wait. My new favorites are the tiny ones, but the large one my daughter chose for me is especially gorgeous with the rich pink blooms!
