Hi Sharon. So nice to hear from you. Your finishes are stunning. I have always been tempted by Dankworth and now more than ever. Your WIPs are stitching up beautifully as well. I am so happy Miss Lucy is feeling better. She is so sweet. The book recommendations look very good. I hope you get lots of time to stitch and, as always, look so forward to seeing you again. You always lift my spirits. Take care.

Crystal, how kind of you to comment such encouraging words! Thank you! Lucy is back to normal, eating anything she can get, playing fetch and barking at anyone who comes near our yard. I am hoping for more stitching time the rest of this month and will report back whenever I have some good progress. Enjoy your April and all your stitching! 🌷🌱🌸😎🩵

Hi Sharon...I could just listen to you talk all day long! You caught my attention with Dankworth...my mother had a lot of aunts and uncle from Scotland and she was always talking about what wonderful people they were! So I think I'd best get that chart and start on it! I'm glad little Lucy is feeling better...I have a cat named Ava who twice has scared me because she did the same thing as Lucy..no eating but sleeping all day. But the next morning she was up and about like nothing ever happened! I love your stitched pieces from Mississippi...I have 3 or 4 charts from Jekyll Island so I guess I'd better start them also...you are making my needle work over time Sharon! LOL Happy stitching to you!!! Diana

Your Dankworth is spectacular and framed perfectly, it is so nice that your husband sent a commendation for that framer, I'll bet they don't get that often. Well, as usual I love your book recommendations and have already found Dear Mrs. Bird in our library. I will pick it up next week. I have a 65 pound rescue dog (no idea what breed) who is about 11 pr 12 years old and we still go to the dog park and she does fine. She just needs a joint supplement. But of course I worry.

Hi Sharon, I just love to see you come on. I have an apricot miniature poodle 🐩 who is now 17. Carson is a little old man. He is a senior too.😊
I love your gorgeous framed pieces. So lovely.
I have read Dear Mrs. Bird. It was good and I read another one that is similar that I think you would enjoy. It is
The Last Bookshop in London. It was a wonderful war story too with tears and joy. 😢❤😊 Thank you

Cassandra, poodles are such smart dogs! I know Carson is a dear companion to you! Our pets definitely keep us laughing, don’t they?! Thank you for the book recommendation; I will check that one out for sure. In case you are interested, Cheerfully Yours and Mrs. Porter Calling are the sequels to Dear Mrs. Bird. I am listening to the third one now and so far it is great. My library has the books and the audiobooks on the Libby app. Happy stitching and hugs from Texas 🌷💗🤗

Those finishes are beautiful and, you are so right, the framer really did them justice. Congratulations!
I was wondering if you did some colour conversion for the Teresa Kogut's Easter piece. It looks so much more beautiful than the cover photo, and your white stitches are delicious, I really admired your colour combination with this fabric.
And a special thought, my admiration and my congratulations for you and your husband's initiative to let the employer know that they have a valuable framer, it is a wonderful thing to do, to take the time and show your appreciation for his work.
    Happy stitching and happy spring!

Thank you so much! We are fortunate to have this young man at our Hobby Lobby! He has done over ten pieces for us so far. We kid him that he cannot move on to a different job! LOL I used the DMC threads suggested in the Teresa Kogut piece and just tea-dyed a piece of white evenweave until we liked the color. I struggle with white stitches so I appreciate your compliment!! Enjoy all your stitching!!🦋🩵🌷🙃
