      Many of them were wiped out by disease and war prior to colonization. The artifacts of some parts of the blue ridge are like 3000 years old. Like for some reason the didn't want to use the valley near Blackrock summit as a base just as hunting grounds. However go down near Natural bridge and you have the Monican. They were denied identity and lands not by we who descend from the mountain folk, but Government officials in Staunton and in Richmond like Walter Plecker, who declared any non powhattan descendent claiming white descendent of old Jamestown to be colored.

    these people took it from someone. they aren't poor victims. they got what was coming to them.
