Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for the second attempt Curt. Snow I am so proud of your perseverance and knowing when to take a break. The banter between the two of you when you drive is priceless.
I am 62 years old, but I always use walking poles, one in each hand, when one has knee or ankle problems they are of great help, also at my age it is easy to lose balance with a mini stone. You are a rock Snow, very brave
Wonderful hike! Well done Snow!! 👏 I almost fell off the sofa when you said "Shadys Back" ... did not expect to hear a rap reference on one of your vids ... hilarious!! 🍁👵👅
Yay for being back on the road. How exciting!!! Those little buildings on the side of the road are cool. What a cool camping spot. That's funny snow...ready first. Lol. Instead of calling them waterfalls they must call them cascades? Those waterfalls are stunning. What a fun hike. Yay Snow...good job. The mist and everything makes the cascades look so magical. How nice of you Curt...to get drinks. What a fun adventure. Closed, oh no. Great song with the bugs. Kitties look happy and content. Plumbers butt 😂 wow Curt...that drone footage...thanks! Stunning! 😍
Wow!! Thanks for the beautiful drone footage!! You are both such inspirations to us right now, in the van build and your travels. We started working on our van yesterday! Alan installed running boards and I installed kilmat!
Wow stunning and so worth the effort (you will both be so fit by the time you get to our side of the world 👍🏽😊). Thank you for sharing! 🙏🏽 from Aotearoa (NZ)
You find beauty where ever you go it seems. Those colorful bugs on the tree duking it out and that black butterfly with red spots were amazing! Even if you (and Curt) didn’t make it to the top you show that your experience is what you make of it. I love you guys’s videos.
I should watch the whole video before I make comments. I see that Curt made it further the next day. 😳 I just get too excited to Waite before commenting. Safe travels!!! :)
Wow, Curt, thanks for that final vista, fantastic!!! And Snow - I have really cranky hips and that climb made me wince just watching you - I do what you do, as much as I can. You captured some beautiful scenery and "critters" on your way back down!
Thank you so much for your second days hike and the outstandingly gorgeous drone footage. Just watching this again and all I keep saying is wow. Wow wow
Wonderuvidwo the drone footage my goodness thanks for sharing your journey. Snow you inspire, my knee bothers me sometimes. Watching you try gives me hope to just always try, love when you guys hike 🤗😘
Snow I love hiking!! I’m about your size and age. Thankfully I don’t have any knee problems, but as a preventive measure I use a walking stick most of the times I go hiking. The events of 2019 & 2020 definitely kept me sedentary, and during my first hike this year it was very hard. And the recovery time definitely took longer. In realizing how bent out of shape I am, I changed my hiking plans by extending my stay, (in my canvas van) and intentionally I went looked for the smaller mileage trails every other day, by myself, (after I had a shameful but heart to heart conversation with my hiking buddies, who are 15 to 20 yrs younger, and very athletic, that I could not keep up with them, and I have to slow down and make changes to our original plan, because I was afraid to hurt myself and 2020 is not a year to end in a hospital. So I gave the the choice to free will and change In plans during the original 1 wk stay. They had other traveling plans, and I didn’t, so last minute I extended my stay for 2 more weeks. Reviewed the trail map, and intentionally took on the smaller mileage trails and elevations to build up resistance. I did miss my friends along the way, but I was able to do something that I have never been able to do in my years of hiking, which was simply, I didn’t have to rush. Then at my own pace and with my trusty stick to aid me with the uphills and mainly downhills, I gradually increased my resistance and miles effortlessly. Something I did many years ago, was to stop drinking the sugary drinks, (soda, artificial juices) dairy, especially cheese, and I have minimized drastically the inflammation in my body. But more importantly always I hike with my stick. (That I will eventually take on the challenge to carve) And the good thing is that I f you forget it somewhere, there is plenty of others sticks you can find on the trail. Hiking with intention, is healing.
Love the music you put in your videos. I been with my husband 17 years and we can not wait to travel! I am thrilled to know that they're rest stops on beautiful places like the waterfalls! Much love ❤❤stay safe & healthy
Trent and Allie use that last music bit, so it kinda reminded me of them. Will you be going to Panama to see the Nomadic Movement? Thanks for the beautiful footage of you and Curt and the butterflies and birds and lizard...love spending time with you and thanks for keeping it real with your limitations Snow and Acura’s plumber butt...🤭
