Had this car for a couple years after i totaled my first car. Wont lie and say i was sad to see it go when i recently got myself a 2018 lexus is f sport. But it was a great car for the years i had it and never really required much maintenance. Had way more features than a car of this year typically had. And was much faster than it deserved to be. Definitely recommend it for anyone who’s looking into this one.
Totaled my first ever car a couple months back my grandparents saw one of these for 4000 with 120,000 miles on it said it’s in great shape I bought it and I’ll be picking it up on Sunday can’t wait
I have a 2007 EX-L V6 in graphite pearl and I love it. I grew up around the car and my Nana gave it to me when my Papa stopped driving and it’s awesome. Only has 30k miles and I have so many memories in it which makes it all the more special... the K24 is great but I’d need the manual with it to liven it up. The V6 auto is fine tho...
i actually just picked up a 2006 EX-L 5 spd manual with the exact same color scheme. At idle the I4 engine did sound buzzy but after watching a few videos, i realized thats normal....I have been driving my SC300 with a 2JZGTE for so long, im used to a smooth sounding I6 engine, but this will definitely be my new fuel efficient daily
I'm planning to buy Honda accord but I have not used Honda before coz I'm a toyota fan, just wanna try Honda accord and see how it goes maybe is gonna better toyota but I don't know whether to go for Honda accord 06 or 07 coz I don't really know the difference and the one is best out of the two? Please can someone help me out and enlightened me.
The funniest part about my car is that it was my Papas car, and it’s a 2007. My Nana has a 2012 Fusion SEL 3.0 V6 and my Car is more reliable and it has has twice as many miles on it.
From working for a dealer we got these in ALL the time and from what iv'e seen leaking in the trunk is not common for this gen. I bet the weather stripping might just be worn out or i have seen sometimes if you shut the trunk on luggage it can cause the trunk to be off-line leaving too large of a gap on one side and CAN leak. but that varies from car to car.
Wassup everybody, I need some help please. I had bought a 2006 Honda Accord ex 2.4L i4 automatic transmission and it came with 99,000 miles but now I have put over 5,000 miles on it (104,000)and its perfect condition well maintained from me and the past original owner. The issue I’m having is that when I want to accelerate it feels like it doesn’t and I see my RPM struggling to past 3000. I can get to 65 on the freeway but it takes a while. The transmission feels smooth and shifts fine. I have clean my mass airflow sensor, bought a new throttle body and EGR valve but I still have the problem. Any clue what could be?
succes hunter Really sorry for the late response dude. But unfortunately I still haven’t fixed it yet :/. I have went to the Honda dealership and told em about my problem and that I also change my throttle body. He said that I have to update my ECU and that would cost me $160. I didn’t do it because I have no funds and I don’t know if he was saying the truth lol.
I never had this problem, but search in youtube about "VTC strainer honda" or check this video ruclips.net/video/PknGSpDsmiI/видео.html There is a VTC strainer.. sometimes on some cars it gets dirty or clogged up. it's easy to clean, or you can get a new strainer it's cheap. www.hondapartsnow.com/resource?t=d&s=l&r=9A259D595DE0D0D44EEBF3E0F013A50258DF3713278B0215BB6505D0F9902B61 Filter Assy., VTC $6.35 Filter Assy., Spool Valve $3.88 O-Ring (13X1.5) x3 $2.53 each but you need to remove belt & PS pump & etc... so it's a pain - so check these things first (spark plugs & fuel filter & air filter & oil and fluids) use genuine and correct ones. - You may need to clean the "throttle body" simply turn ignition switch ON without turning ON the car... let someone press & hold gas pedal spray (carb - throttle body cleaner) on a clean rag - cloth clean it very carefully don't move the blade of throttle body with your hand! only use pedal to move it if you get problem after cleaning... reset disconnect battery for a period of time. you can also clean MAF ~ IAT sensor using Mass Air Flow cleaner * Use honda fluids (transmission, power steering, coolant) * Do it right, or don't bother... you may mess things up * Don't cheap out on important parts & filters of the car. Good luck :)
My sister has this same car same color all I’m just trying to check it out for her she’s been having problems so I’m just looking for answers my car is a 2016 Nissan Altima it’s been ok hopefully nothing happens to it.
Bout to drive off in one today, this will be my first Honda.

This was my first car and it got me through college with very minimal problems 👏👏👏 this car is my hero.
7.5 gen with a k24a8. I've owned one since 2006. Best car I've ever owned.
Brandon Rohlfs This is my first car and for being a Honda I do not mind it

The v6 auto is NOT fine. The automatic transmissions are infamous for failing prematurely in the V6 cars.
It’s my favorite sedan

Is it worth 7 grand now ? (Canada)
Not sure if this was an Accord defect at the time, but the trunk leaks on ours. Not a big deal though since we have the plastic trunk liner.
I fundamental one like this 130000 miles 3000 is ok this price?

Filter Assy., VTC $6.35
Filter Assy., Spool Valve $3.88
O-Ring (13X1.5) x3 $2.53 each
but you need to remove belt & PS pump & etc... so it's a pain
- so check these things first (spark plugs & fuel filter & air filter & oil and fluids) use genuine and correct ones.
- You may need to clean the "throttle body"
simply turn ignition switch ON without turning ON the car... let someone press & hold gas pedal
spray (carb - throttle body cleaner) on a clean rag - cloth
clean it very carefully
don't move the blade of throttle body with your hand! only use pedal to move it
if you get problem after cleaning... reset disconnect battery for a period of time.
you can also clean MAF ~ IAT sensor using Mass Air Flow cleaner
* Use honda fluids (transmission, power steering, coolant)
* Do it right, or don't bother... you may mess things up
* Don't cheap out on important parts & filters of the car.
