Sorry to hear that. I'm struggling with cold nights and hot days in a hoophouse. Fans and heaters are in overdrive. Have had one rain total so far this year, 7 tenths. So, there's also drought. Planted the father to my pumpkin in the ground today. Dug 10" down an there was nothing.
Wow that is a drought. But to be totally honest dry years make the best pumpkins if you can give them as much water as needed. I much rather have no rain then too much when it comes to growing pumpkins anyways.

Most of us use 2 different types of insecticide. A systemic like Imacrapoid. Then we use a contact insecticide like Talstar.
