Depressing and beautiful all at the same time. It's like he was a being from another world that didn't quite fit here. We loved him for giving us the gift of his music, but it must have been so incredibly lonely to be so so different. He was like one in a billion. I hope wherever he is he us at peace
He could sing the Phone Book, and it would move me to tears. I'd want to reach out and rescue or save the souls of anyone who'd gone "Ex Directory". Primarily because his music has saved me at times. Sublime.
Higher Truth flew under the radar for most people, but it has some of his best work ever on it. This song and Through the Window, which is like he sang his own requiem.
This is a nice video for a beautiful song. Chris Cornell was very talented - a top notch rocker, but also full of so much more music with great feeling and subtlety. To have this song and Superunknown from the same man says so much about his ability.
I read where SSRI'S is what led to him passing. I've been there...and was very near deaths door. So this REALLY hits home. SSRI'S are evil lil bastards. RIP Chris. 🤘💚😔🤜🤛
What does "learn the truth about SSRI meds" at the end for? He was not taking SSRI meds when he died. He was taking a benzodiazepine and a med often used for migraines. Neither were SSRIs
@@JeffWhite417 I can relate to all the people, but something really hit me when the face of the girl popped up on the video. Like I've met her in a previous life moment. The old man in the hammock was lost in his book so I didn't see him as lonely. No book would have been sad. And Chris, I had plans to see him perform that never happened. Such a loss for the world, RIP Chris.
I guarantee he tried SSRIs at some point. For the most part, most of the SSRIs are really effective drugs. They saved my life, multiple times. The thing people have to remember is that meds alone won’t make you happy. They’ll make you feel better, so that you can take action on improving yourself. Therapy is important, but for me I needed both. Therapy on its own wouldn’t have helped me much. It’d be like trying talk therapy to get rid of bronchitis, for me anyway. Everyone’s different though.
"Taking everything you ever had. Leaving nothing in return, but a cold bed in a quiet Earth."
Boom...

The Greatest Singer the World had!!!
Most definitely one of the best of all time!!
and Poet, and Composer and just a Man in the one single Person.....
Damn, my eyes fill with tears now when I hear him sing. He's the only singer or celebrity that has died that causes this. Miss you Chris..
So loved his music and one day in heaven I'll be able to meet him.

Think about all the awesome musicians we've lost to them losing themselves in the last 20 years.
The good thing about that or good things they are at peace, and I believe, we will get the chance to see them again
One of his best!
Nicely done. Solid song and Chris Cornell will be missed.
Trying not to cry
Life is too damn short.
"time ain't nothing if ain't fast"
Have you ever looked at something and said to yourself "this is both the problem and solution at the same time"?
Beautiful.
Beautiful
Beautifully Real

Beautiful...and who is that beautiful girl running on the beach????.
Nobody wonders about the lonely man in the hammock chair. I can't give their identities. Thanks for the view and comment. We all miss Chris.

Deep sensitivity for others touched us with his words taken too soon by by

Whoever told you that I'm responsible for other people's actions was lying to you.
