Reverse threads are used to keep nuts from loosening on drive shafts that spin clockwise, like cheap electric fans. From that side of your motorcycle, the drive shaft is rotating counterclockwise, defeating the purpose of a reverse thread. Keep an eye on that nut for loosening, so you don't lose your custom hubcap. Looks nice though...
