I still can't believe the speeds I've seen nascar stock cars go. Just tons of power thrown in a metal box with wheels and they still reach the speeds they do. I saw them go 218 mph at michigan in 2017.

The actual record is unknown, but i think that 230 MPH that day at the Superstretch is not too crazy to think. If todays' cars were unlimited, some people (included myself) think that we could reached 235 ~ 245 MPH (376~392 KMH) at superovals.

From the looks of that beauty it was the one that Ricky Stenhouse Jr. ran at Darlington in 2015 to honor David Pearson. I bet that machine was fun to drive. I still wish they had the 750 horsepower.
2015 still had 800 plus, they didn't add the tapered spacer until 2017 which brought them down to 750, and now its even smaller at intermediate tracks to around 550, but the actual engine is still capable of near 900 if u removed all the restrictions.......
