Honestly one of the big motivations for why my father and I wanted this to get a season two was because simply on how it literally just says you know those old clichés in other shows like this screw that. Not to mention I think this is the only series that I can think of where the concept of an OT three works considering the whole importance of political marriages
Despite the (deliberately?) janky animation, spouse and I enjoyed S1 a lot. Writing and worldbuilding counted for a lot. I hope we get S2 soon, maybe with a bit of a boost to the budget.
