If you count the 2017 World Championship in the 2016 season MVG might've produced the most dominant season in darts ever.
He did win 25 titles which is the most ever won with taylor winning 21 back in 2008

Really, is it not better when you go into a tournament and have a dozen players that can realistically win it instead of one or two?
Yes watching someone like MvG explode on stage like in the PL against Smith is quite extraordinary and fun to watch, but is it better than what we have at the moment?

@@mikebaguncinha4575 I totally agree with you. I saw him doing the 17 perfect darts against wade and i almost died as he missed the double 12 with the last dart. That was such amazing darts. Absolutely destructable.
