Hosted by Jim Vieira, Hugh Newman and JJ Ainsworth: www.megalithomania.co.uk/malta.... An exploration of one of Malta's most important megalithic temples. Ħaġar Qim was built in the Ġgantija phase (3600-3200 BC) but new research could push the dates back much further. V. Gordon Childe, Professor of Prehistoric European Archeology and director of the Institute of Archaeology in the University of London from 1946-1957 visited Ħaġar Qim. He wrote, "I have been visiting the prehistoric ruins all round the Mediterranean, from Mesopotamia to Egypt, Greece and Switzerland, but I have nowhere seen a place as old as this one." It has a summer solstice alignment, was a goddess worshipping site and is the sister site to Mnajdra, that is aligned to the Equinox.

      Visited Malta a few years ago, some fascinating sites there. Should be noted that there is another temple that has been found off the coast line and currently under water. This could place the dates much further back than we think. Not to mention the cart lines that go right off the edge of cliffs and continue into the sea.
      I found some of the official explanations had an agenda of playing these sites down. For example at one of the temples there explanation for stone spears being found was that they were used to transport the megalithic stone along the ground. This to me was laughable as Malta is far from a smooth surface and if that was the case those spears would have got constantly stuck in the ground. You can clearly make out the some of the lentils at the top of the walls have a space for the same stone spears, balls, to be placed into therefore using them to not only join the lentils to the stones on the ground. This also would serve as taking a lot of the force in the event of an earth tremor. I guess they don't like pointing this out as this technology can also be found on some of the stones at stonehenge which would lead to the conclusion that the same group build them or that the technology being used wide spread across the globe.

    Been there 4 times and will be back next week can't waiiit 😭💓💓💓 especially I love the adjacent temple Mnajdra. The whole complex is amazing!! I felt.in love with Malta since I ve been there first time, almost moved there too. A tip: on the back of the Hajar Qim and Mnajdra I travelled a bit on the hills on the back to a limestone quarry and I found out that all the stones there are musical!! I ve sat next to a big cut rock laying there and I noticed it played just like a metal instruments!! 😱 Just like a lot of artifacts from South Africa shown by Micheal Tellinger. At Hajar Qim also I took a selfie of myself and there was an incredible visible aura of energy around me. I couldn't believe it! I took more pic around the temple and you could really see the geomagnetic energy glowing all around the stones that you are filming the ones not covered. An energy incredible the whole area. And whole Malta. Can't wait to be back and pray there! Thanks I love all your years of work and all your research. Never stop! The truth is our right and we will get there! 💓💓💓

    Must've been Giants.............
    Edit: Don't get me wrong, I KEEP coming back to your videos. I absolutely love them and can tell the passion you all have for discovering alt-takes to history. I just don't buy into the Giant theories. Or Aliens. lol. I think we just really struggle to give the appropriate acknowledgement that our ancestors were probably as smart and resourceful as we are.

    • @voidremoved
      @voidremoved 4 года назад

      that is sort of weak, if you think about it. There walked dinosaurs on this earth. why is giant humanoids so hard to imagine? did you see the skulls from south America? you don't believe the oral stories passed down? you really should, there is some truth to be had... ancestors as smart and resourceful as we are? why has nobody told me exactly how the pyramids were build. and why?? you think its a tomb built by slaves? that's obviously a lie.
      do you believe we evolved from monkeys or some crap?

      @@voidremoved I was going to answer your first comment. About how all the "gigantic" human skeletons that oft get quoted have been proven, time and time again, to have only been animal skeletons that the first archaeologists misunderstood and have since been recategorized. Hence ZERO giant skeletons.
      Then you had to go and bring god into it in your second comment. Sub-par.

    The center of the Milky Way is south of Malta, between Sagittarius and Scorpius, thou, 10,000 BC these constellations would be about 13 degrees from the zenith with the Ecliptic North of the Equator (meaning one would look north of Malta and way up to see the center of the Milky Way. In 2000 BC those constellations are about 50 degrees from the zenith with the Ecliptic south of the Equator, meaning the Sagittarius and Scorpius would be seen to the south of Malta. Nowadays, Sagittarius and Scorpius is 60 degrees off the zenith over Malta with the Ecliptic still south of the projected into space Equator.

    Is it exactly 5° off north by chance? If it's celebrating the same celestial alignment as cahokia in the USA; the 5° offset represents summer solstice sunrise, and southern maximum lunar moonrise. This is a multilayered celestial clock. Solar and lunar, thus fertility goddesses, multiple altars, etc. Whoever built it definitely participated in agriculture.

    At around the 11th minute it is mentioned how the corbelled walls suggest a roofed temple. Actually at the Malta museum of Archeology there is a very small 'model' representing a roofed temple [ maltain360.com/Pano/v1/Panoramas/360Malta-110005335/images/temple-model.jpg ]. This is factual proof that the Maltese megalithic temples were indeed roofed.

    So, I looked up the island that is visible through several stones and seems to be emphasized by the temple architecture. It is called Filfa Is. and does have a cave on it. There was a small monastery and lighthouse built in the mid-1300s. It was destroyed in an earthquake and part of the island sank in 1856. The Royal Air Force used the island for bomb target practice until 1971. So, if there were neolithic artifacts on the island, many were likely destroyed.

    I've just come from home from Malta and I went to these sites. I believe there is definitely more still underground. I also walked on the cliffs down from Mnajdra. There are some oddly looking rocks/stones down there, some with drill holes and line patterns. Did they fall down the cliff from up there maybe?

    Hugh, if a site has been covered to keep the destructive elements from ruining it, and we know the site was completely buried before being developed, then unless you know when it was physically buried you can't claim weathering for it's poor condition.

    A lot has been speculated on the purpose of the "knobs" which are found on some megalithic stones around the world. I have seen far less on the recessed notches which are sometimes found at the base of the largest stones, for example at some of the stones at Sacsayhuaman. At 3:30 the second and third stones from the left appear to have similar (though weathered) notches at their base. One more small similarity to such structures around the world.

    If the majority of this site was buried, and the few stones that remained above ground were weathered that much - than this site would have to be much, much older than assumed. Would it not? How long would it take for those stones to be eroded to that condition?

    You should have geologist Robert Schoch look at this site, especially for an estimate of the amount of time it may have taken to produce that much weathering on the exposed parts of the stones. This site is extremely old, much older than the official underestimate, just like has happened at the other megalithic sites in the region.

    • @deathstarHQ
      @deathstarHQ 3 года назад

      How would robert schoch know how long it took for that to happen, it's clearly erosion through sand blasting against the surface, the absence of rain in the dessert and major wate3r erosion allowed the earlier estimate to be made. When does the past move from old to what you describe as Extremely old? and if you know this, could you tell me when a droplet becomes a drop, or how many regular coincidences does it take to become non coincidental? cheers.

      and yes the chakra circuits can be looped - even in simple yoga this is allowed for.
      Also interesting that places like Gobekli Tepe are referred to as 'Navels' - maybe for more reasons than their raised protuberance appearance...
