The answer is yes, he would do just fine. The problem with the Zero to Hero challenges is that these are all seasoned arena veterans. So while he may not have much experience playing any given class, he has a ton of experience playing against them. He understands the fundamentals of what cooldowns are dangerous, how to position, what to interrupt, and how to play both offensive and defensive. He knows how to gear, how to find information, how to find partners, what comps work and don't work for any given class etc. It does very little to prove that someone new to the game could jump in and do well.
@@ZeroX252 True, I haven't seen any pvp newbie try this challenge. I'm trying it myself on my own time as I'm dipping my toes into pvp for the first time. I have lost MANY games, but I'm slowly learning. I guess seeing someone learn isn't as fun as watching someone who dominates the game. It is fun learning stuff though.
@@ZeroX252 I disagree he doesn't want to play those classes because he isn't interested which means he'd have a harder go at it. I also don't like they always look for players above their CR or specific classes. I honestly think this challenge would be more interesting and challenging if there was a solo queue where you got placed in an arena with a player that wasn't a personal pic. Game knowledge will always be his biggest advantage though for sure.

Just look at the last Absterge video, he specs into arms for 1 game with random talent, half his ability, no macro and starts playing after 1min of the gate opening, destroy ppl and rage at how broken this spec is compared to every other class in the game. The hate for Warriors from xar is kind of bollocks… they are the hard counter to mage rogue and that clearly pisses him off… but like they have just as crazy plays that are more important and harder than rogues. That’s why there is such a gap between good and bad warriors. Same with rogue like same level of control when done right.

And that is ESPECIALLY true in Shadowlands, where covenants give so many players and classes a crutch.
