1.5 Years with 668whp Stock Block EVO X

- It has been just about a year and a half since I tuned my EVO X to 668awhp on the stock block. In this video I cruise around in the EVO and address some of the common questions that I get :)
I agree strongly with maintenance intervals. It's always less expensive to be slightly conservative with your intervals than to replace motors, transfer cases, rear ends, etc. Use a quality motor oil and good filter, drive easily (no full boost) until the oil reaches about 180 deg F, and avoid WOT below about 3k-3.5k rpm! Compression checks while changing plugs and BOOST LEAK TESTING is huge.

I would like your recommendation. I am thinking about just shooting straight for efr instead of getting parts that I will eventually replace with efr kit. My evo x is bone stock with 15k miles. I am getting a act hdss clutch this week since stock is slipping.

The only complaint that I have is that 4 points harness are a bad idea for a street car anyway. In case of an accident, people slip under it. If you want to do harness, go for 5 points.
Radames Ortiz that seat belt is dangerous I agree and it's not even attached to a road cage. The factory seatbelt will keep him from sliding and it's attached to the frame...not to bash but if he crashed him and the seat will slam into the glass. Use the factory seatbelt

Yeah, so I found out this car is like 580 WHP on a Mustang Dyno. The numbers posted here are Dynojet or Virtual Dyno numbers. The owner is a 'liar' If he has the REAL numbers, she should have posted them at the title instead of 670.
Try resetting the ECU via scan tool or disconnecting the battery. This could allow the ecu to relearn a little easier with the exhaust change.
Mine is blown was FBO test piped with no tune.... so yeah. I was gonna replace the engine and put my MAP 6266 and try to go for this power with cams. But I dont wanna have to super baby it or keep the redline low. I'm looking for a block and do a stock sleeve Manley H beam motor with 10:1, and go for 700WHP and 9000 RPM.

If you want to make over 500WHP, as you state, go with the I beam rods. The H beams aren't rated for that power.
Who told you FBO with no tune was fine? You blew a 5k motor to save $800 on a tune. Please dear God people tune your Cars. The equivalent of checking if a gun is loaded or not by putting the gun to your head and pulling the trigger
Do you have a harness bar? Thinking about getting some schroth harnesses for the X but don't want to sacrifice passenger capacity by having a bar in the back

What is that pulsating exhaust sound at 0:57? I've seen some videos of Evo X giving out that pulsating sound on idle. Noob here, so don't flame me if it's a stupid question =)
Do you know what a stock Evo x makes on 5150 dyno? because these number don't really mean much without it
Low 200s it's a Real Mustang which cars were ran on DJ's which proves a 15% difference back to back.
@370zforme have you done a leak down test? My compression is fine (550WHP evo x) and my leak down is starting to be concerning. Granted I do track days.
So you are pushing this much power with stock internals?
Why did you chose 5150 and not kt or roadrace engineering... just curious cuz I'm looking to get tuned this month

did you check to see if your toe was in check because in most cases where people suspect camber it's actually toe

The Q300 is not straight through design is it? That COULD be some backpressure thats giving you the off A/F numbers?
