The second I saw you on the phone talking to the vet, my smile DROPPED.
This is what happened to me not too long ago. I had a dog named Shiloh, and she was around my entire life. She was an all black German shepherd. I would take her on walks, drive her around, buy her toys every week, etc. she was my bestie. She was 12 years old, and one day in October, she wasn’t acting like herself. She was quiet and acting lazy all day. The next day, we found herself lying on the ground. She looked at us, but then plopped her head on the ground. We tried taxing her to the vet, but she wasn’t waking, so we had to carry her 😅 Once she was at the vet, the vets analyzed her, and said one of her organs exploded. And that was the organ that filtered the blood, so all that unfiltered blood went into the stomach. Unfortunately, the vets said we have to put her down. So, we did.

We got a new all black German Shepard and named her Dakota! She is very healthy and crazy 😂
She is currently 3 months old, and is slowly but surly getting trained 😊

I'm so sorry about ur loss if it makes u feel any better my nan had two dogs shadow and shiloh just like ur dogs name was and shilow was a yr older than shadow and shilow died at 14 and shadow couldnt live without him so he had to be put down

I had a dog he was a Pomeranian and he always was so energetic and when my mother came home he everytime jumped on her and one day when she was discharged from hospital she wanted to see him just like always but she didn't found him anywhere and some time later we found him beside washingmachine and its wire was cutted and it was in his mouth , he was stuck with it when we tried to separate him from that my mother released started crying so loudly that all neighbours heard it . The worst thing was it was my brother's birthday 10th Feb and we still remember him when his birthday comes .
Its been 5 years and we have adopted a street dog who is very dear to us ❤️

The way this crushed me. My cat was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma two months ago. No cure, its an aggressive cancer once found its already at the end stages.
Almost two weeks later, had to rush her in to the vet, mass was bleeding bc she had scratched it all night. Thankfully it turned out to be an abscess not cancer! It was drained, she was put on antibiotics, she is fully healed now and back to her normal self!
Never been more grateful, best Christmas gift ever don't need anything else, I have it all!

Honestly before getting a dog i would have never cried at this, but its been one year and i cried so much, dogs are true companionship and you both have an unconditional love that cant be described. They are only here for a short time, and this first year has meant the world to me, he has made our family complete.

OMG this is so sad it reminds me of my dog when we moved we brought our dog Chavo with us and we had lived in a little small town out in the woods so he didn’t know cars were dangerous so one night when we went out to eat we were going to put him inside but my mom said he would be fine so when we pulled out to go to dinner then we came back after dinner and we had started calling and looking for him because we couldn’t find him then my dad had went out to the road and brought poor little Chavo back in his arms.Chavo died at the age of 13 on September 22 2022 and I hope he is looking down from heaven and knows that he will forever be missed and will never be forgotten❤️

this made me ball my eyes out. My dog ryder has a tumor growing inside him near his lungs making it hard to breathe. I miss it when he play fought with my dog, went on long walks, chased rabbits and birds, went to the dog park, when he played fetch. He can’t do all that anymore and it breaks my heart because i know that these might be his last days and i’m scared we will have to put him down on christmas
