That did not work for me. I got a refund. The screen turns black if you shorten the clips or if you apply a transition. I spend way too much time solving problems before I asked Envato for a refund. Waste of money IMO.

I'm so disappointed in this pack. So hard to install, transitions are not showing. You have to manually download the fonts 🤦♂️
Hey Ezra! First of all, I am sorry to hear that you had trouble!
But: You cannot add fonts to a pack that you paid for, because those fonts are free and you aren’t allowed to re-sell them. But you don’t need those fonts, you can just select any other font in Resolve!

The $34 price is only for personal use , cannot use these asset if you are a freelancer .
*PAY $160* to use it commercially(or for freelancing).
Well, I hope that if you are freelancing like I am, you are at least as smart as I am to forward the costs of such things to your client. Otherwise you should overthink your business model coz that doesn’t sound sustainable to be honest…
@@SebastianFriedrichVisuals sir , you have international viewers ,so it is not wise to think that everybody can charge $100+ for videos .
For your own viewers you can explain these licensing and legal terms in few seconds , that will only help your viewers , and there is no harm in doing so.

@@muscle__rr okay, I get your point but. Assuming your doing a simple video, 8 hours filming. Probably between 8 and 16 hours of editing.
Even with only 8 hours of editing this would be 16 hours total - at 100$, this is an hourly rate of $6.25. if that’s the case in your country than you might be thankful that editing is mostly remote. I‘ve worked with clients in the US, Australia and NZ, even though I am located in Germany. So get clients outside your country and you‘d be able to charge more. Think outside the box, there’s plenty of opportunities!
@@SebastianFriedrichVisuals I understand your points , but frankly speaking , in my place if you are not a renowned editor , people will hesitate to give $20 for a full editing(forget about hourly rates) ..
And yes , your advice of working remote is perfectly valid.
But I will also request you to share more about licensing as it would be more helpful for people like me with less knowledge. That was my point/request from beginning.

@@realmadera as already stated in this video when I said that, there was an issue that I am trying to fix. This video also shows a note how you can get to the pack. On the themes page, just select ‚video‘ in the upper menu, then select DaVinci Resolve and the pack will be on the first page…. Everything was already answered in the video…

The pack is really great. But unfortunately quite useless for a freelancer work, since neither the Regular license, nor the Extended license, covers MULTI usage of the same digital asset ("item") for different End product (i.e. video deliverable to the client for a given project). Practically, it means that, even if I like a lot a graphic transition in particular from the library, I can't use it in two different project (video) with two different clients. That's literally jaw-dropping...

I also do video editing for clients and from time to time I‘ll get back to this pack. It’s just a question on how you price things. If the client wants mograph assets, just forward them the cost + an additional fee (you don’t have to tell them this directly on the invoice, just add everything up and add it to the day-rate) 😉
That’s how I do business and none has ever had complaints!:)
how to install this? i have place in on my davici resolve appdata folder following the instructions. however some of the clips are just black, especially for social media part
update: none of the packs works wtf. you click on the folder once you copy them to your power bins and they're empty
another update: you have to go fusion and click show folder and paste the corresponding folders there
Hey Ezra! I know you are better than this comment, everything is shown within the pack. The reason I didn’t show the installation process is because the author included a complete tutorial that is included in this pack ( which I am also pointing out in this video! )
@@SebastianFriedrichVisuals I actually followed the instruction and still didn't work. I'm asking maybe that tutorial was for the older version of davinci. The tutorial said to copy everything to /edit or transition folder but it was a different transition path the same as the macro folder. I had to actually find the right path on my own

That’s correct, yes - but you can easily forward the costs to your clients (if done for clients, obviously) - or you check out envato elements, it’s a subscription based model ($16.50/month) and you get all of these assets + music + sfx + stock footage with unlimited downloads / usage!:)

@@SebastianFriedrichVisuals firstly when he right click on edit I don't see what he see. He doesn't even bother to explain what to do if that happens. Secondly after installing the titles he says oh by the way u must install the fonds. Well how on earth we are suppose to do this he doesn't say. After this I gave up and so sorry for the money I lost. Thanks anyway for replying
@@lakislam.photoArt the fonts are contained in the pack as files or download links (those are free) just download them and double click the file that you‘ve downloaded, it will say ‚instal‘ which you should click and then the font will install in the right place automatically.

What do they want 50 bucks a month? I can make them all for free in after facts. And I can even make them better in after effects. Resolve needs to make a graphics page… Where you can make anything you want very very quickly. As you can after effects. Fusion is terrific but when it comes to graphics, it sucks!
Hey Allen! Well, kinda. Have you tried the anim curves feature in the fusion page? Making animations with this is super simple! I am sure that’s the thing you were looking for!:)

Hey! Yes, that’s true, I am working on fixing the issue! That’s why (as I said this in the video) there was a not on screen, saying: click the link, then select ‚Video‘ in the Upper menu, and then select DaVinci Resolve (then you see the pack on the first page!)

@@SebastianFriedrichVisuals ja schon klar, aber deine Videos sind ja sonst auch so aufgebaut. Nicht böse gemeint, aber ich würde mir selber komisch vorkommen Videos zu gestalten, wie man ein Effekt in die Timeline zieht.
@@by_almo das ist okay das du das so siehst, zu sagen, dass meine Videos auch sonst so aufgebaut sind ist absolut nicht richtig. Klar hab ich n paar wenige Tutorials in denen ich einfach nur die Effekte zeige, das sind aber von gefühlt 110+ Videos nur max 10 LOL. Ich weiß nicht wie du drauf kommst, aber ich vermute dass du auch jemand bist, der ein 3 Minuten Tutorial sieht und das inhaltliche Fachwissen eine 3 std masterclass erwartet. Das ist halt nicht möglich?! Hast du dir die 20min + in depth Videos angesehen? Würde mal sagen nein, da sie zu lange sind und wichtige Infos enthalten, sonst würdest du das hier nicht so schreiben!:)

Had tons of problems with things from envato - does this package contain elements that fail on load and require you to manually change the fonts until it works again? It's a common issue apparently. Thank you, i'm looking for something like that. Cheers.
The thing with stuff from envato is that it‘s a community marketplace where everybody can put their product, basically, so sometimes these product aren’t the greatest.
I haven’t had any issues with that pack whatsoever- regarding your font issue, well, if the title was made with a specific font that you don’t have installed, it‘s clear that it shows nothing and ‚fails‘ on load as you have to set a different font as the font used can’t be located on your computer. I wouldn’t call that a problem per se as mostly they come with a pdf file with links to download the fonts used

Yes, as I have shown on screen in this video, the link is bugged and you have to select ‚video‘ on that page in the upper menu and then select ‚davinci resolve‘ but that was all in a text on screen explained already 🤣 anyways, hope this comment helped you!:)

Hello Sebastian, I have bought the small version of this package and I am satisfied with most of it.
The only problem I face is when editing some generators :
-> In the fusion page, I can't see the nodes composing the generators, although I see them in the splines tab.
It looks like the nodes are "locked" into one single node, I can't get to fix this to fully use the assets in the fusion page.
Do you have an idea on how to fix this ? Or tutorials explaining how to use it I would be very grateful 🙏
That‘s because these are stored as ‚Macro‘. Just navigate to the place where you stored these templates, find the one you like, right click on it and select open with - text edit.
Now you should see the Macro as a text file. All the way at the top you see ‚MacroOperator‘ - just change that to ‚GroupOperator‘, select the whole text (ctrl + a) and copy it (ctrl +c) - then go back into davinci resolve and open the fusion page, click somewhere in the free space down on the node editor and paste it (ctrl + v) - now you see all the node within a single group!

You have to download and install all the fonts (links to them are included in the pack text help file!), otherwise, if you don’t want to do so, on them titles just change the font and you should be able to see it!:)

How does their licence work, you buy once and can we use it for my client work and or only for personal work.
If you have the regular licenses, it’s only for personal videos! If you have the next higher license, you can use it for clients!:)

Any Info on the installation of the pack,
is it ".DRFX" files, where everything is auto installed,
or,
Do every genre of FX has to be manually installed into, Titles Folders, Generators Folder, etc.

Hey Billy! It’s mostly a drfx file where you don’t have to be worried about the installation.
Sure, the sfx and video files you have to install manually in your power bins, but all the titles and generators will be installed automatically! And the creator even included a video tutorial for all the installation process!:)

If you buy the $162 pack, can you use these effects on multiple video projects? The wording says "Use, by you or one client, in a single end product which end users can be charged for."
The 162$ version is mostly used, if you are doing videos for clients, which you get paid for. And it’s a 1 time usage, however, you can just forward the costs for this pack to the client (of course, if he wants MoGraphs) and add an additional cost on top for yourself. That’s how I would do it!:)
So basically if your client wants mographs, add an additional 199,- to the cost of the video and get the pack

Gute Frage - du kannst jedes Plug-In in Fusion in seiner ursprünglichen Form öffnen, auch wenn dir nur eine Node angezeigt wird, wenn du irgendwas in Fusion öffnest - aber nur über einen kleinen Umweg.
Du musst den Effekt in Fusion öffnen (am besten ziehst du ihn auf deine Timeline, klickst ihn an und gehst im Inspector oben rechts auf den kleinen Zauberstab / Fusion Icon), dann wählst du die eine Node aus und kopierst sie mit Ctrl+C, jetzt öffnest du einen beliebigen Text Editor (Notizen, Pages, Word, etc) und fügst die Node mit Ctrl + V da ein! Jetzt siehst du im Normalfall seeeeeehr viel Text - aber ganz oben in einer der ersten Zeilen steht ‚MacroOperator‘ hier ersetzt du das ‚Macro‘ einfach durch ‚Group‘, dann kopierst du den gesamten Text wieder (Ctrl + A und dann Ctrl + C), gehst in Fusion und klickst in das Node Feld und drückst Ctrl + V - jetzt sollte dir die gesamte Comp als GroupNode angezeigt werden, die du einfach öffnen kannst!:)
Ich hab dazu und zu dem ganzen Macro Workflow auch nochmal ein separates Video aufgenommen (ultimate Macro Guide) - da wird das nochmal ausführlicher erklärt!:)

Been using this for 2 years, on an old 2013 rMBP, and despite the obvious challenges that it posed, I was able to finish a professional project that looked quite polished. I can't wait to use this on a much needed newer machine with 16 GPU cores.
