The supplied magnet when applied to my case isn't strong enough to hold on to the phone. It slides off easily. Removing my case and connecting directly to the phone works.
I was happy to see the magnet placed INSIDE the case, however, it was not strong enough to hold my iphone 15 plus securely in place. I am very disappointed and will have to return the product. Bummer.
Can anyone give me advice on where to mount this on the dash of a 2017 VW Beetle? It appears all the surfaces of my dash are curved or too textured. Thanks.

I bet it won’t stick. I have went thru this problem with another company who makes windshield mounts for one of the best vehicle radar defectors on the market and I keep having to buy the part of the mount that sticks to the window. Supposed to be a suction cup sticky but it fails and I have now bought 10 since I bought my radar detector. 3M is great on some things but it won’t hold up in heat. Also when the top lid to my samsung goes duo washer broke I noticed when I took the handle off there was a 3M sticky thing under the handle. Not sure why a $2499 washing machine would use 3M anywhere on its washer but I took a video and pictures to show and ask samsung why 3M is being used
nope, just a holder. they do sell one with almost the same shape with built in magsafe charger though. but it would still charges at 7.5W due to apple limiting Wattage to non 'made for magsafe' certified chargers

Yep. You just need the round metal thing, so it attaches to the magnet.

You will need the circle magnet or buy a phone case that has built-in MagSafe
Remove the paper from the circle and place on the back of your phone.
Don't remove the circle from the phone.
Any update? Would the adhesive soften on hot days?

Ummmm 🤨 u didn’t need to add magnet to the case because it iPhone should be enough even with case on if u have the ability to mag safe charge.
