Let me tell you an easier efficient and simplest way to hide your valuables:
Step 1:steal them back because if he can go into your server you can probably got to his.
Step 2:hide them in a chest and cover the chest ten blocks under the dirt surface.
And that's about it!

Step 3: dont follow step 2 and build ur base in the void (u can break the bedrock) and then use boats and shulkers below

The problem with every base is how someone may accidentally find the base while strip-mining.

A base in the sky can be found when flying. A base underground can be found while mining, and a base above ground can be found through travel.
