I love Denise Linn's deck. I recently took it on my carry-on baggage and got pulled aside going through security LOL. They wanted to see what that "Box" was. Talk about a sturdy box! You're not kidding! Next time, just a bag! Normally, I would trim off those borders, but I have to say I think I like them! It's like peering out from a window. Something rather cool about that perspective! And the readings I've had...it's gentle, yet pretty powerful at the same time. :-) Thanks for sharing!
Weekly deck reviews are or weekly deck review is... it's based off the plural or non plural form of review(s). Honestly I love Shadowscapes. And I do see how it can feel distant. But that hasn't really bothered me. It's my favorite deck to work with. Maybe I love it so much because its fae. Wow the sacred deck is very pretty. Photo quality but still whimsy a bit too. lenormand is one I'm interested in learning. Wow... that art is so gorgeous. The last unicorn tarot! I love this deck so much. I wish I would have known about it sooner. That bag is so beautiful. Moons are a thing for me lol. Thank you for sharing.
I completely agree with you about the Shadowscapes deck. I LOVE the artwork, it is totally my style. If I could get the cards in a poster size I would wallpaper a room with them. But I can’t for the life of me read with them. I don’t think I will ever re-home the deck since I do enjoy looking at those cards... they may wind up as part of an art project though ;)
As for the Shadowscapes I see it as a soul deck for me and what you said about it’s distantness kinda made sense to me. As in I can relate to that quality and see it in my orientation to life? Like looking through a window. So maybe that’s partly why I relate to it so well. That’s interesting, thanks for sharing that.
Not even 3 minutes in and I had to hold back from screaming at the screen...THIS!!!!!!!!!!!! If I had a dollar for every video and comment I've seen over the years complaining about the size of the Shadowscapes deck I'd be living my best life right about now. Now if only everyone who felt like this would flood Llewellyn with their feedback and vid reviews - imagine what could be accomplished; Just look at what happened with the Dirty Pam/Radiant Wise Spirit tarot situation with Lo Scarabeo. I'd create a movement if I could. Thank you, Lisa - eloquently spoken! I also wanted to thank you for doing this video series; it's lovely to see how others work with their decks and other perspectives, methods and techniques, etc. The more that I learn about what actually goes into producing RUclips videos, the more I appreciate the time and energy that content creators put into their channels and connecting with their followers.
I totally get what you mean with the Shadowscapes. It took a little time for me to read with it back when I was more a newbie, but I've since had some great readings with it. And over time, it's become cumbersome to look at my app to see details of each card. Breaks my flow, ya know? I even trimmed the deck to see if it would help, but it doesn't. So now I just use the deck for intention-setting/ritual work. Can't wait to hear how TLU Tarot works out for you!! xoxoxo
I think i get the remoteness in the Shadowscapes. I've never felt inclined to get it though i love the artstyle. Faces and gestures are really tiny in this big swirl of colour... I'm thinking of doing a zoom in version of a few cards, to see what happens...
Shadowscapes... I love the deck, and it reads so true. Powerful deck, and it doesn't pull its punches. But, please, it does need to be bigger and borderless! I'll readily admit to viewing the cards with a magnifying glass! I do get pulled into the cards, but I can see how it can be difficult to make that connection. Loved that Oracle deck and the Fairy Tale lenormand. I would like to see how you combine the three in a daily reading. (O, yeah, Peggy's craftsmanship is stunning! )
I know what you mean about wanting a specific deck to be larger. I haven't bought Paulina Tarot or Spirit Song bc of this. The artwork is my style, but it uses such fine lines, the cards don't seem big enuff. :/
I have such a borderline toxic relationship with Shadowscapes deck. It’s so beautiful but there is too much detail for it to be so small. I get a bit of anxiety whenever I pull this deck out. But I am still not able to part with it. This was the 2nd deck that I purchased.
Do you already have the Sakki-Sakki? I can’t remember. Hmm....not to be an enabler but there are 40 left from what I remember seeing on Instagram. I’m also a color junkie, hehe. It’s like candy and amusement parks and all the fun childhood things as well as the childhood dramas for me haha.
@@Lisa_Papez No problemo! I was just making sure. 🙂 I'm looking forward to watching your top decks of 2019 video! Also even though my comment was a bit enable-y, I also love watching your anti-haul videos! They help me appreciate what I have more. Thanks so much ⭐🌈👍🏿

I have the app version of this and it’s perfect because on an IPad the art is really big. So you might want to use that.
Thank you for your info on your channel. I am happy to watch you and i love your enthusiasm

I bought the Shadowscapes watercolor books, which teach her style. They're great!

What kind of marker do you use for edging?

I do not have the Saki Saki but I'm not entirely sure it's one I want to grab just yet!
