The show was decades ahead in doing this way before the Idiols and Star Search and other shows like it came along and here this little black child in very racist America winning on it. Yes she described how some treated her but said Mack was very kind to her. So by the time this performance was done she had decades of greatness,even though she was still very young late 20yr old.

I always loved music and she was my Mommy’s favorite. When I saw her again in 2006 I thought Wow she sounds the same. Not many do, if they are still around. Bubba was still by her side. RIP to her Cousins🙏🏽🙏🏽
