  • This video is a comprehensive guide for anyone who is about to have Soft Tissue Grafting (Gum Grafting). It includes information that applies to Connective Tissue Grafts, Free Gingival Grafts, Allografts and Pedicle Grafts. In this video you will gain information on the following subjects: (1) What to expect after your soft tissue grafting procedure (2) What NOT to do after you've had gingival grafting (3) What you SHOULD do to take care of yourself after gingival grafting, (4) What you can anticipate in the long run (2-4 months after grafting). I hope this sheds some light on the bone augmentation process and helps you to a fast and healthy recovery!

Thank you, this was so helpful! I had a gum graft last week and my dentist gave me literally none of this information, he just sent me home. 😞

Thank you for this information. My dentist has explained all this - but in French, and my French isn't 100%.

Here's the truth. You will NEED painkillers. Massive pain for 3 or 4 days. 8 out of ten for the next 3 or 4. No relief until about ten 10 days. You need to cancel everything for two weeks. Won't even want to get out of bed for 8 days!!! This IS a NIGHTMARE! Doctors LIE!!!!
