Thanks SO much for this tip, Ma'am! I was reading so many blogs online that spoke about this - but not 1 helped me. Your video was crisp and to the point! It helped a lot. Thanks so much! Now my content on LinkedIn will reach a lot more people.
I am so glad you liked the video and found it useful. One quick thing to note is make sure you only bold. or change the font of things you really want to stand out, as people can go overboard. And also this changes your text to unicode, so LinkedIn does not read the changed text as letters, and therefore key words, so make sure you have your key words like skills and job titles in there, but not changed to unicode. (I will make another video around this bit).
Hi Coach Brown, thank you for this awesome tip, it's not something I was aware of! I am excited to find ways to differentiate my profile from others on the platform. One way I do that now is to use emoji, on the mobile app, for my bullets (like you have with the checkmarks), as traditional round bullets are not very appealing looking on the platform.
Thank you!! This was super helpful. Also, how did you make the check mark icons? Or how do you create bullet points? Just not sure how to add icons as well? 🤔
This is nice, BUT it treats the text more like an image than a text, so you are losing on SEO using this technique. Simple way to confirm this is to search the word within the page. It will not find it.
Really good point. I need to do an update and mention that because you don't want your key words not being picked up. Also I have noticed that the site I recommend is sometimes down, so I need to update the list of sites you can use.
Great tips Karalyn, make your text POP! #loveyourwork
Thanks so much for the support!
