  • I was lucky enough to find out about a Glasair 3 Twin Turbo that was located in Country Victoria and may be for sale. After visiting the farm where it was located I came to a deal with Greg to buy his Glasair 3 project. The only catch was I had to transport it home. During the video we show you how we dismantled the aircraft for transport. We all had a lot of fun and I am looking forward to showing more videos of the build etc.

Very cool to see. Never watched a plane come apart. @ around 6.20 "what's it gonna break?" - "Nothing serious" too funny

Nice little project. It is interesting to see the progress. Back in 1990 or 1991. What year. They held the very first Pillion race in Tasmania. They call it the Redbull Air race. Today.
Why I mention this, My father and 7 of his mates flew 4 Skyfox ultralights. From Caloundra Airport to Tasmania.
They were the first ultralights to fly the Bass Strait to Tasmania in one go.
They had to get special permission to fly at 15thousand feet
The successfully completed the journey there and back. Not one incident.
Part of Australian aviation history that not many know about.
    Good luck this year, Broski
Erebus cars look awesome and sound great. And it's awesome to watch on Tv.
    Cheers Troy

Started flying in 1968, don't fly anymore due to health issues but they sure do have some nice high performance aircraft around these days like your Glasair. Looking forward to future videos of the build Will.
