- Why they gotta attack us like that? They crawling, growling, cooking? Dinner's ready??? Excuse me?! For real, cringe or not, I felt like a prey this whole entire MV! The power and the sensuality of the song is incredible, it's very well balanced too since we have very aggressive raps mixed with very sultry and seducing vocals, that makes wonders! The styling was great especially the outfits at the end, which I wished we could have seen more of honestly! The MV was ... it's a SM MV. I think they could have gone a lot further with the concept but I also understand that this is a pre-release and that they're probably keeping the budget for the actual comeback which I'm really excited about but don't want to get my expectations too high either because I don't want to be disappointed. But this is probably one of my favourite song of theirs for sure!

I agree this is probably the best mix of all the sounds/identities each member comes from. In Jopping and 100 you could say "oh this is opening is very NCT" or "this chorus is Exo". Now this seems like the best example so far of what SuperM's sound is.

@@JenCruz. imo it's not Mark and Taeyong's parts in Jopping and 100 you can clearly see the NCT influence. This is different from the hip hop sound NCT usually has.

I think one of the reason why the MV was recorded more in a studio rather than in outer places like Jopping is due to the pandemic. It's really not easy to travel nowadays.

The actual staging did feel limited, all on sets just like 100 but with less CGI (and I am assuming way less time), but they must be so restricted in where they can film now due to outside circumstances. It felt as though they had outfits and concepts ready for a much bigger execution (as hinted by the gorgeous brush drawing they commissioned and showed in a teaser in few days ago) but they had to make do with what is available and safe. (Cause you know they will be under incredible scrutiny for abiding strictly by whatever lockdown restrictions are in place at the time of filming.)
I wonder how many ways 2020 is going to be a year of "might have beens". But I am grateful they are working as hard as they can to give performances and energy in trying times.
And yes, this Mark is looking pretty dangerous. I'm so proud :)
