Kai always remind me of why he is the best of the best. Doesn't matter if he's in an EXO performance or Super M performance, our eyes ALWAYS go to him. His movememts carry some kind of power, be it agressive or delicate, he does it all.
Kai is just amazing. You can put him at the back and he will still catch your attention. I just love how he dance, how he give meaning to every move and that animalistic move sends me wolf vibes. His flow is just to fluid

Absolutely hate it when Ten isn't able to show off his full potential. We've all seen the 'Take Off' vid and we all know Ten can snatch wigs and make us clutch our imaginary pearls, so let him do it any and every chance he can please ^_^
ngl it's funny that in wayv SM makes lucas and ten the center and kinda gives them more individual promotion compared to other wayv members, but in superm SM treats them like background dancers

@@melisaylmaz3220 yes ten did that too but you can clearly see the differences between kai and ten hands movement, i mean the way kai executed that part, the detailing for that hand + chest waves movement totally on point, his arm was placed 90° from the floor compared to ten with 45°... both did that with sharpness+fluidity but then kai not even missed any single of detailing... you can clearly see the differences between kai and ten movements there with playback speed 0.75

@peyton s true. he's like in the center for like once? idek, i barely saw him in the center. when i watched and listened to the music i was thinking "oh they could've given that line to ten and it will still be awesome or even better" no, SM did really dirty, restraining him from showing his skills.
@T S i tell you Jeff is a big fan of Ten and his dancing style. but yes Ten in that move was like giving his all, so flexible and graceful, while the others was like treating that move as as rest time (not saying that they're doing it bad ok?) Ten was like giving his all since the very first second of the video. His energy is consistent and hitting those move cleanly.
I fee bad for Ten, he's good both in singing and dancing but sm not giving him more lines and not putting him in center enough was bad moves

i have to agree, kai was one who absorbed my attention in this song! it's hard because this group is comprised of my favorite members from each group so usually with superm my eyes just went everywhere everytime, but this particular comeback and song, i just can't take my eyes off kai! it's so weird because this is such an nct vibes song, but i really like the way kai executes the dance. there's something about the kind of restraint(?) he puts when he did a fluid movement so it had a sort of tension in it, and idk it reminds me of a tiger just creeping waiting to pounce. not aggresive, but gives you this tenseness(?) and anxiety like something's gonna attack

Kai has an innate way to interpret a song. He was just born to be a great dancer and so well-endowed. His balance, fluidity, agility and precision are spot on.

personally i think ten killed the shoulder part move as well, i mean they all did. ten killed his center part though! like you can't tell me he didn't kill it and honestly ten makes things look effortless that i genuinely feel sometimes what he does goes unnoticed, idk if that makes sense.

I have to say that Kai is on another level not bc of the style but on being clean with the choreo his body lines and volumes never slip he can command his body like no other I am really impressed by him
I am so touched with your comment here. Yeah its take a lot to have that control of your body right? This is why Kai always takes care of his body, he eats healthily and does exercises for his body as he said before he wants to do his best to improve his dancing in all way. He does all that for dancing. His passion for dancing. God knows how much he had endured a lot of injuries. Back then when he was accidentally fell from exo's concert stage and hurted him and all of us too. He was so sad that he cant perform like others. Then, he injured his ankles again. Thats two major accident as we called such a tough moments for him. He loves dancing so much, he felt bad that he can't dance. But since then, he became a steel bear. He once told us cuz he gets injured many times now he became a steel bear 😭😭😭😭. Hes such a strong ones. It makes me happy to see him now dancing happily n makes people inspired too. I cant wait for his solo debut soon. Hoping for the best for his condition. Hope he gets to rest well and dont overworked. He tends to overworked and did his best till hes satisfied which makes fans so worried for him. Again, not that i would mind you reading this, but it makes me happy to see ppl a fan or not see him. As that performer. 💛💛💛

true asf! every main dancer did great with alot of power in and no one would deny it but the way Kai executed those powerful movements with sharpness + fluidity at the same time was totally insane.

ten has a lot of center time? 😂 id say he has one section of solid center time vs just being given like 3 seconds of some small adlib he does where I'm actually pretty sure he was just told to freestyle something to fit those 3 seconds. it looks like ten's freestyle style, I don't think anyone choreographed those sections.

i mean everyone is really good at dancing but idk, Kai is giving such a very different vibe, from the flow of his body on how he's executing moves,the detail and such is just so satisfying. We never get tired of those.
What i love about kai the most is he's soo sooo good in portray what choreo supposed to look like. Especially in this animalistic choreo type of thing. And he's always really into it, i mean look at his facial expression.
Kai is good, in the a group dance i give props to Taemin for blending in. Taeyong too. SUPERm is a strong dance line. Nothing wrong with standing out as its good. I am looking forward to his Solo

Ten doesn't get a lot of center time but it gives that illusion because of these adlibs shared with other members. The only decent center time he has is that 6-sec dance part at 7:12 and even that is shared with Mark again. SuperM from the very start has been consistent in disregarding Ten whether it's the title song or the b-side songs. It's so disrecpectful because if you're going to overwork someone as talented as him for two groups, the least you could do is give him the proper exposure but no, he doesn't even get that in group stages. A lot of people who has seen Ten in SuperM first get surprised when they check WayV cos they hide his skills in SuperM which is extremely disappointing.
Btw one of my favorite parts is 8:12, the way Ten did the popping with the bass is so satisfying.
When will SM treat its foreign idols better man... Have they not learnt from EXO etc 😔😔

Completely agree with this. I was 100% shocked that both Mark AND Taeyong get singing lines and Ten barely sings. Ten got pretty good screen time in the 100 mv, but the screen share in 100 was much better distributed. This MV was Taeyong fan service and I’m not quite sure why. He’s a great performer, but was not the standout even with his greater screen time. Kai, Mark, and Lucas stood out the most to me. There were literally whole group shots where Ten was completely out of frame. 🤔

Even tho they get along well with their fellow members, they still are sane individuals who expect to be respected professionally.

My favourite part was the same as yours, Jeff! I love that tiptoeing and how Kai's back has a nice detail when he crouch down with the claws. I also love that only Kai and Ten has that detail with their back while others have them differently. Another fav moment for me was Taeyong's upper limbs and wrists flicking. I love seeing how weighless his hand gesture is and how light and gracefully his arms are when he frail them around in many points in this choreography.

@@icedevil0289 yeah, @2:27 I always noticed that Kai and Ten lead their crouch down with their back first, like back pulled down first then followed by shoulders. Compare that to Baekhyun who just do a simple crouch with his shoulder down first making him arching his back. It's not bad but doing it like Kai and Ten will extend the movement further. Mark seems to have the same idea but his execution at that move is not as precise as Ten and Kai. Taeyong has his own unique interpretation of, like Jeff said, holding/pulling his upper body backward a bit making him crouch down with his right shoulder leading the move.
@@Kairikey it's interesting that jeff said this choreo was his style because he stuck out to me in parts, but in a very different way, because it just looked awkward at times but its probably a style thing. i noticed the part at 2:27 as well, thank you for pointing it out. i know ten is in the way back so i get not noticing him immediately.

Everyone's dancing with their own style 🤗 is it good or should they dance more in unison and in line? Mark's so bouncy and energetic. He and Ten killied that leg movements in "dinner's ready yeah". Kai as usual danced so sharply dan passionately. Taemin the legend is so fluid and precise. Ten's so fluid, but very strong..and his flexibility is out of this world. Taeyong's so precise and fast. Just like Mark, all his body moves consistently. Lucas' so tall but so flexible, he killed that head movements in the beginning pose. Baekhyun's also so amazing with his fluidity and consistency.

i think that's their advantage. they're also dancers with differently unique styles and techniques. it may be awful to restrain their movements for the sake of synchronization. but they can be in unison and in line tho despite having different style of dancing.

both strength and weakness i should say. they are putting a lot of their own personality in their dance ang that is good but i feel like if we are to judge their dance performance as a group, they really are disorganized (but for this dance practice, im surprised since they are not that disorganized unlike their other performances)
This is just Taeyong's thang it's Sooo his Thang ToT He's always had this raw, uninhibited yet graceful style of dancing, very fitting to a feline predator. He even said it himself that he likes Tiger Inside the most out of their songs. He also wrote the rap part himself, that's why the "vroom vroom", "Grrrr" part feels so iconic and so Taeyong.
I thought I was the only one that was obsessed with the way Kai did that tippie toe thing into the "growl/crawl" of the chorus. It caught my eye right away and I can't stop seeing it. I kind of feel bad for Taemin, Kai, and Baekhyun in Super M. Super M's songs are VERY NCT. There is very little in them that reminds me of either SHINee or EXO. So the songs have a lot more sing/shouting to them and the dances are more aggressive. I think they are doing great with it, it just doesn't seems weird for them. I kind of wish Super M would have a more unified blend of all three groups styles, because it is very lopsided at present.
same, and i think the reason for this is because both super m and nct 127 are supposed to hit it big in the us and this is the sound sm thinks people there would want to hear. Like wayv are kinda also nct but way more melodical than 127 because their music is meant for the chinese market.

I did realise that too but in a way I like it because that way they can show different image of themselves too. If anything they are also taking the exo approach of doing the choreo in their own styles now, Jopping seemed to put them in a box to do the moves exactly the same but this comeback is showing them doing the moves however they feel.

Mark and Taeyeong gets lots of center/camera time as well as raps and vocal lines. Ten or Lucas or JongIn could've taken some of the vocal lines they had just to make it more even. Sometimes Ten and Lucas feel like bookends when I watch this group, especially in the promotional songs.
Really agree with you, I feel like it’s probably hard for them to voice out as well since they’re the youngest in terms of experience compared to the others.

While thie may be true. Take into account that seniority plays a huge role. Mark joined SM earlier than Ten, I think. They debutee in I together, but Markyong joined tue firsr fixed unit l.Also, this prep was during the WayV comeback too
WayV members may not have been so active in the ceative process. I do feel that Ten can take a few vocal lines more. But if u compare them to Taemin and Baekhyun, seniority is prolly a huge factor there. I have yet to check the other tracks. Since wecreally dont know what happens behind the scenes, we can't make a generalized statement.
@@babylionssirenblack1595 while I get where you're coming from, other members were also amidst comebacks and comeback preparations during this time. Not to mention other SM idols that have been there for years still don't get the lines and respect that seniors deserve. Johnny in NCT for example, he trained with SM since he was very young, but he still doesn't get nearly as much as the others. If this was only happening with a couple of songs of SuperM's I would be more inclined to agree with you, but Ten and Lucas have gotten the short end of the stick in every song they've released so far. And it is very well known that SM is not fair to its foreign idols, that's not something that can be debated
