Come along as I ride with mx legend Stephen Gall on his Yamaha T& World Raid, and we bump into Curtis from @anotherguyonabike4726 , Great bloke!
Got myself into some trouble, watch as I untangle the bike out of difficult spot!

Thanks! Yeah mate I am so stoked to ride with Steve, we ride mx together on weekly basis and when we can get out on the big bikes, he is a true gentleman and legend.
Stihl and Klim make a nice light aggressive folding saw for snowmobiling. Never thought of carrying one on my PA BUT... LOL

First saw Stephen Gall race at Amaroo Park as a teenaged unknown in the mid-late 70’s. What a great and diverse bike riding career.
That's awesome yeah he's the real deal, and I have been a fan since the 70s, feel blessed to hang out and ride together. Great guy even if he goes to the wrong town for coffee!
Thanks for showing the warts and all version Mal. This is the genuine reality of adventure riding mate. I was out on the weekend about 100km from Dalby and dropped my bike. Middle of bloody nowhere, no one around and on a hill in a big rut. It took forever to lift it and I was absolutely knackered!! I think something takes over and you realise you just have to get out of a situation, no matter how hard. The relief when you get it upright is like nothing else.
Cheers for the story, yeah the challenge of the lift is somewhat rewarding, Gally couldn't come help as his knees are not good and he couldn't walk up the hill, thus I said I was fine and knew I would get it out somehow!
Great recovery...maybe you have heard of the Venus fly trap plant...eats flies.....what you found is even more rare....the bike eating fern.....good thing it was an infant...any bigger and it would have swallowed up the bike.....seen an adolescent one pick a 450 motor cross bike out of the air when the rider got to close...he left the track on a turn...not a pretty sight. You put up a valiant fight and were victorious! Great video and ridding buddy! Garth

you used to be able to get from governors chair through to Cunningham's gap when I was a young fellow. You can still get in from Cunningham's gap but not all the way through unfortunately.
Oh is that the locked gate to the right as you drive in?

Been a super busy year, done some training and mtb videos but got stuff all traffic to them, it seems people like the ride videos, so that is where my efforts will go, should be pumping a few vids out this year! Stay tuned and spread the word!
Gave me flashbacks of the day I decided to sell my 1190 Adventure R after picking it up @10 times in one trip (my duck legs, muddy ruts & a heavy bike didn’t mix well for me!!) Glad all ok 👍🏻 💪🏻

Thanks yeah it was a real awkward spot, Gally couldn't come as his knees are shot and ready for a replacement on both, I wasn't sure whether to leave all that footage in, but it shows the real deal, did you see I got my leg pinned when I dropped the bike!
Honest? If this was real why didn’t he show the wreck? Seemed staged to me
@@bradforester3635 nah mate I didn't crash bike, I dropped it turning around, Steve had the camera filming while I rode up, I dropped the bike turning and that's where the bike was laying, I went back down and grabbed the camera and filmed getting the bike out. Nothing I do is fake mate.

😅 we rode today, right town, right coffee shop and had fuel! No video on this ride unfortunately sometimes I just need to enjoy the ride!

Pretty much spot on, and thats what I try to deliver in my vids, just sharing the day, inspire others to go ride.
I have no probs accepting offers of help to lift my fallen bike on the trail, IMO, better to keep the energy in reserve for the riding and keep the weightlifting for the gym. Good luck at the dealer with the broken switch, hopefully you wont have to replace the entire switch block.
Another major point Steve has 2 very weak knees, and could not get to where I was without a lot of stress on them, best to leave him below initially until I had no further option.
I'll find out today on the switch, hopefully HD will have another block with something else wrong we can pull apart, Furg is checking today, fingers crossed!

You and me both! Thus the few sit down rests, poor Steve has 2 shot knees, so I didnt want to get him to walk up to help, all good we got out!

Tc was off, nah I stuffed up turning around there was no room, then got wedged on the tree, it was quite a challenge! Steve's knees are not good thus the solo lift!

Continental tkc80 great on the highway! No vibration or noise. Reasonable life if you don't powerslide every turn!
