  • Phyllida Barlow is a British artist living and working in London. Barlow's sculptural practice centers on her experimentation with materials that are easily overlooked and often found in the urban environment in which she lives. Cardboard, fabric, plywood, wire, scrim, and cement are among favorites and she manipulates them to create scupltures that defy simple description. Barlow's work is currently on display at the Norton Museum of Art in an exhibition that's called, what else, Hoard.
