In the 2010s it felt like school boy q and Vince staples were in a competition of who could drop the best feature. I loved Vince staples on Noboy's Smiling and School Prhyme. Then Blankface happened. It was dope as fuck

Q is sick with the pen but he ain't better than Ab-Soul and an argument could be made that Jay Rock is better than him too, even though I wouldn't agree. Now this is when it comes strictly to pen on paper. But Q is the most musically gifted right behind Kendrick, that's why his albums tend to be better sonically speaking. But as far as lyrics go, nah. He himself would slide right off of any Kendrick comparison, and for good reason.

Kendrick obviously the best all around and most popular of the original members or original male members..
