I learned a lot from your video. I'll try this. I didn't think of refrigerating before frying and I'll do this. I never thought of mayo, but, I'll try it! THANK YOU
Won't be the same but you can try it baked. The closest you will get to this is if you spray them with some oil and Air Fry them. Air fryers are cheap these days.
Yes you can actually bake or pop them in the Air-fryer. I haven’t tested the times yet but baking them should be around take 15-20mins. It’s seafood so 400 degrees in the oven would be a great start. I’ll work on a recipe video for a baked version
Well…I didn’t get to make them after all,at least not yet. But I guess it’s just as well. After the game I went to bed and the next morning I had to be rushed to the hospital, because I had not 1, but 3 sleeping strokes. As if that wasn’t bad enough, I fell and hit my eyebrow on the toilet tank lid, causing a serious contusion and a black eye. God is good, I’m a living witness. 🙏🏽
First time here and subscribed...Great idea combining crab and shrimp into balls BECAUSE with crabmeat being so expensive, a crabcake is great eating, but ball sizes WITH shrimp, makes serving four or more people, as an appetizer, on saltine or RITZ crackers, is an even better idea! One of these bad boys on a Ritz cracker, causes us to slow down to ENJOY the taste of crabmeat with each bite... As noted, the key is making them not too moist, holding their shape and refrigerating them..... A pound of crabmeat and shrimp cut up will go a long way and adding more of each just means more to enjoy as an appetizer...add some fries or some other favorite will be a great hit til the entree arrives! Great recipe!
I haven’t tried freezing them, however in the stores they have frozen crab cakes so I’m sure you could make them and freeze it for for later. Just make sure you freeze them in freeze air tight bags.
Yes, this could be Baked and Air fried. For the Air fryer I recommend 12min @400°F, for the oven same temperature baking time would be around 15-18mins. Time will vary depending on your cooking method.
I plan to try this asap, what else do you serve with the balls as in vegetable or do you just make a dip. This looks absolutely amazing, been looking for something different too
@@JustmyopinioninVA Hey! For the AirFryer I would say 370 for about 8-10mins or until gold brown and cooked through. The oven you can broil them on high heat for 10-12 mins against as necessary depending on your Appliance. Hope that helps 🙌🏾
Newbie here! Oh my goodness!! I'm so glad to stumble across your page! Your food looks so darn good and recipes are so innovative! You're so articulate when giving precise instructions with your recipes..voice is calming. I can't wait to try them all with me being a huge seafood lover! Lol.
Ok I just made a new patch today and put them in the freezer to try and I would say I like putting them in the freezer to hold its form compared to the fridge. Not too long thou because maybe 30mins to keep everything fresh.

Thanks for the Sub! I hope you enjoy my recipe videos!
Can you use crab claw meat or do it have to be lump crabmeat
I would stick with Lump crab more delicate than the tougher claw meat, and taster better in my opinion.
🥂🍽️🍴 rolling them in breadcrumbs or tempura 🍤, too
Yes I will give that a try next! 🙌🏾
