When they’re live, I find that Louis and Harry stack lead, Zayn is usually on lead but in a different octave. Niall and Liam do the harmonies.
Liam does high harmonies most often, but Niall does them a ton too. He’s the higher harmony on more than this and what makes you beautiful.
you are correct! Not many people notice. He sings the high harmonies in little things as well and in right now too, when Zayn is singing the chorus. there are probably many more songs
@@nhobsessed yes! I’d love to go through all of the songs and figure out which is which. I think Niall gets overlooked so often and want him to get his credit!

liam does the low harmony on the earlier songs like in the Up All Night album. some songs after the Take Me Home album he does the high harmony but mostly its niall doing the high harmony
Liam mostly doing higher, Louis rich voice holding those melodys. They really are mesmerising to listen to. I’m a senior and wanted to join a pop/rock choir a few back, started with guys, been obsessed ever since 😂 Thank you for this input.

You’re right about Harry’s unique sound & it’s part of why they moved him into the lead position, in addition to him being the most sellable “face” of the band. The band started with Liam (who sings those beautiful high harmonies) as the leader of the band during performances bcuz he was the best technical singer & most experienced performer since he was in the industry for a couple years before the rest of them
Liam did high harmonies the most, he's so underrated because he's the most versatile for me because he can go high and low, harmonies. Even sometimes the melody already high but he can go higher just insane coz i know how tired it was

@@jayudani7672 Zayn hit way more (& stronger) high notes than Liam, but Liam carried the high harmonies in those parts he’s pointing out. Liam was always very good at harmonies bcuz of his technical training

Idk if you've ever seen but Taeyeon has done busking in Europe too, it woukd be great if you could check some of those out. I totally recommend her cover of "When We Were Young" by Adele and her own ost "If" (that she vocal-directed herself at only 19 and it's also the ost that prompted her to become more recognised in the public's eyes as the great vocalist she is)

Harry is blessed because his tone is rare that's why he got sing the melody the most and he got solo part the most if I'm not wrong
But when it comes to technical Zayn adn Liam is the best, u can tell how versatile they are, Zayn high note is effortlessly his runs just wild, that's why he got the most high notes part and adlibs. And for Liam i don't think i heard him off key and strains when he sing, meanwhile the other boys I've seen some part they are got strains on their vocal, it was because for me Liam did right thing how to produce his vocal
For Niall and Louis their technique probably not the best but their vocal is unique. U can tell who sing that part when u heard them. Also with their unique voice, sometimes the song feels more deeply and that the magic of their voice

Their music’s good but their auditions weren’t . They were like seventeen what’d you expect.
