I really lucked in finding the place that did the mods you are right they are super clean and they were sending me progress photos the whole time so that I could choose how they did it I’m so keen to get a test run video out now! Stand by 😎😎😎😎😎😎 and thanks for watching too!
@@suchisaustralia4839 cheers for the sub mate. Keeping up to date with other tuffy lovers is awesome. Always great sharing ideas etc. can’t wait to see your weapon on the water. Subd aswell
Mate I’m in QLD but literally bought this so I could pull it all over Australia and on the beaches I want to visit the whole strip from Perth up past Geraldton and up to the NT so visiting WA for sure once the virus stuff ends I actually follow a RUclips channel called WA camping adventure that instantly put WA on my list haha
I actually went with the 65lb so that it would be an additional form of auxiliary motor if that helps! I know with a big deep cycle that may only be 2hr but I figure as much as I am ready to call the rescue, if I can put home ten minutes on an electric I’d prefer that if possible! Even if that only meant getting the boat to shore etc. but I am a a super cautious person!
Hurry up and get it on the water! Love watching Tuffies in action. Setup is looking good - are you planning to put a bimini on ? I seem to have a tough time finding one for my Tuffy.
Hey mate! I really want a Bimini after I watched a clip of someone with the original Tuff tender set up as a solar one and his had a Bimini There’s biminis that fit I’ve seen them in the Tuff tender group on FB but given the experience I had with the place that set the sounder and watersnake up I think I’ll just ask them to figure it out What I need to be mindful of it that the Bimini does not interfere with the watersnake so it would have to be measured up Have a great Friday mate
@@suchisaustralia4839 ok sounds good. Do let me know if you end up finding one that fits as I'm keen as mustard in getting one too. Enjoy your weekend too.
Hey mate I know what you mean about researching the Bimini The only one I can find that looks like it fits well in terms of pics people have uploaded is one by OceanSouth if that helps. Looks sweet. I am thinking I’ll get a price for a custom one. I’d rather it fit properly than awkwardly!
Hi Mate awsome looking rig. What figures are you looking? It will be great to know what you are looking at before you tell the wife I want a small polly craft 😇🥹😂
I noticed the place where you installed the transducer. Can you provide further feedback if this place is good and at what speed it can still read clearly? Thanks in advance.
Hello mate It’s only been tested in a lake (calm) but read fine. Haven’t tried it in chop or churny water but not anticipating issues. It read well in the lake You can also get adaptors to drop the transducer down a lot lower if you need to. For me it’s been fine. Hope that helps !
Whenever i reach 9km/h on mine it stops reading properly. That's why i am looking for the best place to install my gt54 sv transducer, so it can read properly on higher speeds
@@mariomerhy704 oh mate that’s a very common problem less to do with the placement and more to do with the transducer . It would be worth checking out RUclips for anyone else running that transducer at speed to see how it reads. I’ve never had much luck at speed with any (unless you’re set up for offshore trolling) but trying to get super specific detail at estuary speeds has always been hard for me.
I am so sorry brother I am too I have been trying to get a booking for install of the bimini and the bilge but so hard during covid. I think I might just have a crack myself and upload it! I am so keen to get out on it for a blast!!!! Thanks for not tuning out the wait is killing me too lol
Thanks for the update. Looks really neat the mods look super professional. Setting it up nicely just got to see it on the water.

Made a mounting plate out of 1/4" aluminum as well. Absolutely necessary to give more mounting points for the puck.
Great job! Looks fabulous. Can't wait to see it on the water catching fish.
Thanks mate! I am self employed now so will have more time to get out there
Mate this is the perfect setup.ill be setting mine up like this.forsure.
Would love to see you out doing some damage
Thanks mate! It will be out there for sure! It’s been such a chaotic year with covid we are in lockdown so I can’t launch it!!!!

Great video mate. I have ended up with white Tuffy which is currently in Brisbane. Looking to fit out like this for me and my young bloke.
Hello mate thank you very much! That’s a great idea, the stability will help a lot in that scenario with the youngster it’s always good to feel safer

Have a boat identical to yours lined up in Texas. Wondering how hard it is to route wire in hull.

What connect did you use for the power plug in sand also where did you store the batteries
Looks like a fun toy, wish they could get them here in the USA faster. Takes an act of God to get one here or I can pay double the price.
Hello mate yes they are wonderful and being built for Australian conditions are very tough. I heard that distributors were opening there ?
@@suchisaustralia4839 they are but the markup due to shipping is ridiculous. Almost double the price.
Ugh! Frustrating for you I bet!! It’s the same here trying to buy a US vehicle :(
@@NFiltr8Red Worth it though man. I've got mine in Gold coast Australia and its a great toy, for a brand-new boat it's a descent price
Hi Ate,
I just got 1 of these aswell. Are you going to put any deck lighting on it?
Hey mate yep sure will and I’ve got some other stuff i am getting installed in the next couple of weeks! Another vid will come 😎
Why to drill holes for transducer?
Hi we need an update please.....keep them going
Hi mate thanks for the comment yes we sure do I have just been flat out fitting it in around work !
My dream boat i hope i could get one like that. Sadly hard to find that here in 🇵🇭
Hopefully you will one day!!!!!

Hello . Is the boat self-bailing? if it stays in the sea and it rains, does the water come out by itself? thank you.
Hey mate! No it’s not self bailing but I’ll be adding a deck bilge pump soon !
