No one was better? Where you watching the NFL back then, or just someone jumping on the hype machine? Bo was a very good reason, not on the level of Sanders, Smith, or Dickerson. Certainly, not on the level of Brown or Payton.
That’s amazing that he got over that injury mentally so fast. Clearly he had good emotional support around him. That misfortune would’ve killed a lot of other athletes
I think his brains broke his hip. He broke his one hip running. Imagine what he does to his head running that fast and hitting people that hard. His subconscious did it. It’s like when you’re in the backseat of a car with someone drunk and speeding driving. You start thinking of ways to get out. His brains were scare as hell riding in there “this dude is gonna kill me.”
It’s better to see him actually talk about it now. For years, the interviews that I saw. It hurt too much. He wouldn’t even watch football at one point anymore.
I watched that game. The hit was not impressive. Later I saw BO walking around like nothing happened. If I remember correctly he even played with a small boy. I was surprised when I learned about the extent of the injury. Billy Sims would also receive more attention if his career had not been terminated so early by a knee injury.
Does Bo have a lung issue? I saw him 15 years ago when he visited my high school. A few of our coaches played in the NFL at different times and one played during Bo’s time. He came with fresh gear from Nike and gave us some speeches. It was a great experience but I don’t remember him having to gasp for a longer sentence
Bo Jackson my favorite and best ever to me..
This the first time I’ve ever seen a Bo Jackson interview believe it or not. OG seems very insightful and wise
Love Bo's healthy mindset. At his peak no one was better. Would have been a HOF in MLB and NFL (as a part time player). Bo was special.
Dude was so good that Marcus Allen was moved to the bench or fb
He would not have been an MLB gal of famer.
@@gregoryfagan2835 He was my favorite as a kid but you’re right not in baseball

Bo and Barry ….man!
Acceptance is power! I love this segment! 🫡🙏🏽🧠♟️
He should be in the Hall of Fame
3 🐐s out here and they thought no one would notice
I remember where I was at watching that game when he had that injury against Cincinnati
I watched it happen live on TV and never imagined that that play was the end of his career. Hip pointer, right?
why is nobody talking about how jacked Bo's forarms are??? wtf dude is the best Raiders RB right now!
There's never been a back since Bo Jackson and there will never be another back like Bo Jackson ever again.
Kids today will never know. Baseball game at 10am, football game at 6pm. Lite work for Bo.
Him and Prime are the best athletes I've ever witnessed.
Really? In what way? Sanders, Dickerson, and Smith played at the same time. As well as Faulk
No more brushing backs.well maybe Derick henry

You guys are awesome!
Tim Krumrie was the Bengal that injured Bo Jackson I was watching that game back when I was a kid
Krumrie was also hurt in the Super Bowl
He will always be my favorite player of ALL TIME

He still looks strong af
His forearms tell it all 😮

Saddest part of all is that if Bo played now they would have operated on him and he would have kept playing
Drop tackle...
Bo knows

Suffers from hiccups
Taken out by a drop tackle dang
His hip ripped threw his artery that provided blood to the bone. That man isn't human.
I remember having tthe whote orange and blue Bo Jackson trainers....but he shouldve stepped out of ounds
Bo sound like he need him a Dr Pepper or a sprite lol like he got indigestion need drink a ginger ale or something
You dont know BO
He wouldn't be a HOF or the best splitting carries with Marcus Allen
His surgery didnt fix the hiccups that sucks !
It sounds like he's lying. Even though I grew up knowing bo knew
Bo does seem to do that here and there. Bo didn't out run the defender on the play so I guess they both could run a 4.13
