Personally i have embraced and rejected every form of religion. embraced because i believe there is something greater than us which at some point in the history of mankind has influenced us, but i reject it, because there are so many interpretation of those events and so many repetition, that i refuse to chose one in particular . Besides religion has become a business and a source of power to not influence but now manipulate people and the derives that started from this brainwashing have restrained people ore than it has freed them, so i have to disagree with the scriptures , whichever they are . But i still believe that there is a world of difference between a twilight shrine and a sumerian shrine .
But i agree with you, the vatican and the twilight series are both two very far fatched rendition of some old events (if god and/or vampires did exist of course ! )
