bethany hindle I think it’s just bc they won’t see each other as often. When they were on Strictly, they hung out every single day for most of the day(for rehearsals)and, obviously, they won’t see each other that often anymore

Zaiba Patel you would think that because of the support from young people on social media. However most of these people are not from the U.K and therefore can’t vote. Also, Stacey is very popular amongst the U.K public ever since she’s joined strictly. She was also the bookies favourite to win.

Brent I agree in a way however joe still has a lot of fans in the uk, combined with his sister’s (Zoe) and Alfie’s and basically all his RUclips friends who have social media! That’s A LOT of people, but I guess Stacey could have that many aswell. I’m just confused really

I was blown away by this. The Quickstep bits were superb, and the whole dance went hand-in-hand with the song. Joe has come a long way. While I'm delighted for Stacey, I think - on this final - Joe was robbed. A spectacular performance. He should be so proud of himself. 10.

OK, the glitter ball has Stacey's name on it - and I _do_ like her - but Joe and Dianne were my winners. Actually I think they've 'won' much more than Strictly, with the relationship they've built over the months; and they've given us much more than great dances, with their unmissable vlogs...some of which I think I may have to go and watch again now, to cheer myself up :)

So proud of Dianne and Joe. They deserved to win this season. I’ve never had so much fun watching a programme as watching these two, their friendship, and what they come up with each week. I feel sort of empty now knowing it’s over. Thank you for this journey, Joanne ❤️

@David Smith if you look on the official strictly page, Joe had quite a lot of hate from older fans. Clearly the older people's votes outvoted the younger fans. It may have been a very close vote.

They kept him and used him for the views they knew if they cut him then the views would drop by at least half but he deserved to keep going as he was actually such a good dancer and we all voted for him to win I never watched the Show with so much interest and eagerness for someone to win which meant I made sure to watch every Saturday and Sunday I’m not annoyed the Stacey and Kevin won as Stacey’s a good Dancer and Kevin’s never won. But looking at all the people who are disappointed in the results I know that joe had more votes then Stacey honestly I think it’s cause she does stuff with the BBC (like the last few winners I believe) So honestly I don’t think I’m going to watch the show nest year cause I’m beginning to think it’s rigged.

I loved this the hype fortnite dance was perfect, great running promanades, wonderful quickstep section, great energy, fantastic lifts that was a amazing showdance *10/10*

I think what's best about all of this, is how much more confident joe is. He's always been the quiet shy one of large groups in his videos. He's always found it hard to show emotion. But this has literally dragged him out of his shell and allowed him to embrace everything he could. He's never really strayed to far from the norm, but he risked it all and now he's going to feel a lot better in his own skin. He's a winner in his own right and a winner in a lot of people's eyes. :)

I’m actually a little heartbroken that Stacey won 😩 she performed the worst on the night. Discounting Ashley (as I don’t think she should have been there in the first place) Faye did amazing and joe was incredible. I voted for joe of course but I would have been happy for either to win really as they deserved it most in my opinion. Joe you smashed it ❤️❤️❤️

Suprize suprize the BBC kept the inhouse winner , stacy was not the best dancer by any stretch of the imgination , but the best news is Joe won his Lady , Dianne is a one-off bundle of joy so who won the greater prize .----- for those people not internet savvy like myself go to THATCHER JOE / DIANNE training vids it shows construction and fun they had doing each dance in the training room each week & also see how well they get on with each other.Its fun from week one & humour non stop from both of them.

Very similar to Stacey's showdance, in the sense that it looks a little messy in parts. But it's very brave Dianne to trust Joe in doing that trampoline bits in the the routine. Could have ended in tears and my heart was in my mouth at one point. He did it, and I especially love the QS bits. 9
I still don't know who this fellow is but it's interesting that he's set himself up to be his own private expert. Strictly brings out all kinds of umm mildly informed commenters, doesn't it?

Omg I absolutely loved this dance it was the best one out of the whole final. It showed of his skills perfectly and they were so in sync it looked really impressive and was definitely entertaining. Had a good mix of styles unlike Ashley contemporary routine part 2. And a real feeling of a show dance with the trampoline and guitar smashing and Joe breaking through the speaker. As soon as it finished I was so impressed that I hoped it would finally get a 10 from Craig giving him his first 40. Craig criticized Stacey for her dance not being traditional enough and I thought that all the Quickstep parts in this would please Craig. And then Craig said he really liked it and said it was fantastic I was like COME ON JOE'S FIRST 40 and then he gave it a 9 I was so mad.

This show is rigged for sure, poor #joanne didn't win. I mean Fay and Ashley were good too, and I wouldn't be this sad if they had won, but the fact Stacey won, it's quite unbelievable, not to be rude, Stacey's dance was not the best. Oh well team #joanne won for me ❤️❤️❤️

I thought It would be either Ashley or Faye [mostly Faye coz the public didnt seem fond of Ashley although she was clearly the to p dancer and idc abt the whole she had dancing bg thing].. and I DID think of the posibility of joe winning, but like to me it felt clear that those two girls were the to p two so... I got so annoyed when I knew it was stacey although I dont hate her.. I actually liked her from beginning to end but to me she still wasnt the winner so I was really shocked
