You have to take into consideration that bergvall will probably start against liverpool because Sarr is suspended and Bergvall usually cramps at 75 mins

No wonder Solanke isn't getting any service. Werner as the main replacement is absolutely hopeless. There can't be many players making £160k+ per week who are this crap but our Ange managed to find one and bring him in.... I could go on.... What a shambles.

I feel like the system has changed because of our injuries. Djed and Porro barely inverted and neither did Reguilon(more expected however). I don't know if that is a good or bad thing, just something I've noticed. Don't know if we've slacked off on the tactics or if Ange is letting it slide because of the injures, because at the start of last season he was very adamant on the fullbacks inverting to create a overload in the middle.
Tbf it's also indirectly a compliment to Deki's season that a relatively mediocre performance was judged more harshly. Same with Sarr. I do agree it was a bit harsh but it is because of the standards he has set for himself where he's not on his usual leve it feels very noticeable. And again same with Sarr where he's been very good for us and when he's not as good as he usually is it shows more.
When a player is given the captain armband, sometimes they don't play as freely and risky as they would normally because their responsibilities change and pressure may be felt differently. I know for sure this happened to Son when he first became captain for S. Korea's national team. It may take awhile to get used to.
Johnson has never impacted any game. He's a very passive player and compares badly with Gordon who's the opposite. Postie is the only one who believes that he will magically transform into an influential player like Son, Kulu or an Aaron Lennon. He has to because it was his recommendation to buy him. I don't believe he will and he needs to be replaced. He's had enough chances - £45m wasted.

I've been saying for ages that Porro should be our right-winger instead of the abysmal Johnson, Porro's crossing ability has been clear to see for a long time, he's definitely no defender so play him on the right throwing in those fab crosses and put Spence at right-back.

I’m Korean so I was on a Korean website watching everything and in the chat everyone was hating on bergvall telling him to stop dribbling and to bring on son because everyone was shit. They have literally 0 ball knowledge.
Bergvall already proved himself in previous games when he came on as sub. he was taken off as he tends to fade a bit as games go on. that said, so does Son these days but he gets away with it as he sells more shirts. Hopefully Ange will see how his team performed when fresher and train the arse off them a bit less from now on. athletes do not need high speed training, they get that in matches, aerobic is as hard as training needs to be

johnson just isnt good enough does nothng on the ball creatively and off the ball defensively, if he isnt tapping something in hes useless

The defensive side of Sarr's game needs improving. He's often caught on the wrong side on counter attacks. Johnson and Werner were a waste of space.
