@@baibai3175 Good thing we're not scientists then, Mr Dunning-Kruger. How would you prove to me beyond doubt that you're sentient and not an automaton?
Elephants are such amazing, loving and compassionate beings. We have so much to learn from these sacred, kind and powerful beings. As a Zimbabwean who has lived around elephants on the shores of Lake Kariba, they have literally changed my life. They are highly skilled in telepathy and can sense another elephant's excitement or distress a great distance away. They like all other animals are deeply sentient, intelligent and affectionate/loving. They have an amazing, spiritual and divine consciousness like whales and dolphins. They help strengthen the energy centres and lines of the land. They too are great Healers. They should be in charge of the Earth and world instead of us humans.
I've loved Elephants all my life. They're so gentle, nurturing and smart. It's devastating to hear what humans have done to them, horrible, gut wrenching to see, plus we're infringing on their space. Elephants have learned how to take down fences, even electric ones, how to stop trucks carrying sugar cane to help themselves to some. I'm sure I've seen every documentary with Sir David Attenborough, 🥰 I'm only 20yrs younger than him. Lol Many millions of thanks to all who make a difference in the Elephants survival. 🙏🙏🙏...
It’s pretty hilarious honestly, watching them hold hostage the drivers on the banana trucks and sugar cane trucks, there’s even some routes where they pay banana tolls to the local elephants in order to pass lol
When I was a child I couldnt say the word ' Elephant ', so I just used to call them en-ten-tents. Although Im more of a big cat guy, I do still like ententents.
I admire people who can work with animals comfortably. Such a talent! I want to hug the baby elephant! So Cute! Thank you for sharing these baby elephants! I have enjoyed watching them! 😍😍😍😄😀😄
Thank you!
I'd like to give a shout out to the Piano Man himself Billy Joel who has decided for some time now to take a stance to not use elephant/ rinoceros tusks to make piano keys. It typically involves killing the animal. Good for you Billy!
@@Lord_of_Proboscidea they do! Depends on the species some of them have one some of them have two and they're quite smaller compared to elephants. But yeah I mean not playing piano on Ivory is definitely challenging but the effort to change is admirable!

Elephants look so alien. Majestic creatures. If I was blind and gained sight most things I imagine would freak me the f out but seeing an elephant would give me a heart attack
African elephants face significant threats from poaching for their ivory, habitat loss due to human activities, and conflict with humans. I like these types of videos. Thanks for sharing this.
In 1800 there were an estimated 25 million elephants in Africa. In 1900 there were an estimated 24 million elephants in Africa. About one million were hunted for their ivory. In 2000 there were less then one million elephants in Africa. Today there is and estimated 415 thousand elephants left in Africa. Hunters in Africa need to be hunted before there are no more elephants left in the wild. That goes for rhinoceros as well. There 90% were hunted for their horns.
Once he saw the dog in the water, that made it easier for him to enter it. He saw that the water did not harm the dog and the dog was not afraid of it. It's the same when a child is afraid of doing something harmless, and then is able to overcome their fear when they see that the other children are not afraid. They also want to be part of the fun.
Regarding the elephant intelligence test, I think what is really amazing is the elephants are solving a human intelligence test. Lets face it, pulling two ropes together to move a table is something that will never occur in their real world. Begs the question, could we pass an elephant intelligence test, like finding the watering hole 30 years later. And while we acknowledge that elephants are pretty damn smart, the cameraman comments that the elephants don't know where the brand new baby came from, it just appeared. Like elephants would somehow not be able to understand about being pregnant and giving birth. Duh.
Elephants are proboscideans of the family Elephantidae, there are only six living elephant species within two genera, the six living elephant species are the African Bush Elephant (Loxodonta africana), the African Forest Elephant (Loxodonta cyclotis), the Indian Elephant (Elephas indicus), the Sri Lanka Elephant (Elephas maximus), the Sumatran Elephant (Elephas sumatrensis), and the Bornean Elephant (Elephas borneensis).
One time an elephant in a zoo trapped my little brother behind its ear (perfectly understandable to be annoyed to be in Canada if you're an African elephant), and I just stood there and talked to it for 20 minutes and it let him go, and then caressed my face with its trunk after. Very smart animals. 🐘
i wish i had money a lot of it and just be able to buy land in Africa and dedicate my life in saving its wildlife, its a dream thank you for all you do wonderful people youre the ones who count
Humans are directly affecting the evolution of elephants by ivory poaching. Also directly affecting elephant society and behaviour. Over time the dry grassland turned to lusher pastures because of the elephants' activities - most of which involved using their tusks.
Elephants sound just like Humpback Whales. The reason there is no Matriarch is? Due to the vileness of poachers. The cruelty of Homo saps, once again. This is so wonderful to see their care & love.
we need more humans like this therapist to protect our beloved elephant from evil poacher and evil asia which are responsible for the extinction of our wildlife
the system of exploitation runs far wider than merely asia, and blaming the “third world” while western countries reap the benefit of exploiting natural materials from the land unfortunately creates a ripple effect in local economies to participate as middlemen in order to survive the plague that is capitalism
