Having cleared CFA Level I and a CFA Level II Candidate and having acquired skills like Financial Modelling, PowerBI, these aren't so easy I would say. I've been applying for jobs mostly on LinkedIn and not many people are considering shortlisting as well tests, GD, PI toh dur ki baat hain.

The points made in the video do seem sensible but I find this comparison preposterous. It’s like comparing apples and oranges. Going by your own words, a CFA is a certification in Financial Markets. If you want to work in say asset management, there is no way an MBA can give you the same value as a CFA. CFA is very specific in nature and focusses on financial markets. It isn’t meant as a replacement to an MBA in any way. An MBA, as you said again, gives you insight on managing business activities. An MBA can never give you the specialised knowledge that a CFA does and neither could a CFA teach you about the nuances of management like an MBA does. A CFA or an MBA depends entirely on the career path one choses to follow. If you wish to make a career in, say, investment analysis or portfolio management, a CFA is far more important than an MBA while an MBA would be better for a career in investment banking and corporate finance. The two just can’t be compared like this.

most of the best CEO's do not have amasters degree, oit of the top 50, 26 don't have it. CEO = MBA Absolutely not, definitely helps you understand management holistically, but doesn't mean you can't be a ceo without Mba

Bro cfa lv2 students wont be the only ones who cleared level 1 there are going to be other aspirants who cleared level 1 earlier or maybe took a break for level 2 hence you can't just take 18000 out of the 45000
at the same time there will be many students who clear level 1, and do not give level2 , or plan to delay level 2. so here the law of averages take place, and considering that the people who cleared level 1 a few years ago were lower than people who clear level 1 right now, according to the law of averages only, 18000 is a higher estimate.
I am thinking of doing CFA, but I have a doubt regarding it, that when we say that to become charter holder we need 4 years of work experience, do this work experience has to be continuously for 4 years or can I go for MBA after 2 years of completing L3 and then complete the rest 2 years ? See it’s a very good question, depends on the fintech thing you have in your mind. If it is related to risk managemnent - frm If not risk management, then cfa will give you a good boost, mba would teach you many concepts including marketing a bit of accounting, HRM - so that would be a good blend and give you chance to network, thus if you can learn all these on your own, amazing don’t do mba, otherwise giving 2 years for mba after some work ex would not be a bad choice
LBS is good, but I had a word with a person from LBS who told me 3 out of every 10 students ended up getting a stay back in UK, but this figure is before they introduced the new stay bsck policy after education, so we'll have to wait

3. From job perspective both cfa and mba would be good
If someone get into core finance job profilelile equity analyst, valuation consultant or other finance job profile then that is relevant during the mba summer placements.

working in a company + cfa would be a better combination, then going for a good MBA
Distance MBA has no value . Go for CFA
