Amby killed it with Presumptuous. Kid’s got his own voice. You always know when Amby is singing. So talented it’s unfair, really… But such a good guy - gotta admire and root for him.
@@colefiler1429 I was tripping when I heard it and grim reaper really surprised me. I had never heard any of the album. This is the best version of dripping tap I've found so far. The sound quality on this upload is really good, too. Such an amazing set all around.
JOEYYYYY dude. at first i wasn’t too sure about this version of the dripping tap, but man was i wrong. i love how joey has been included with more prominent vocals! i would trust king giz with my life
Saw them play dripping tap in St Paul last year, maybe the best thing I ever saw live and I've seen a lot of shows. The crowd closer to the stage started running in circles forming a whirlpool of people, I cannot fathom how something like that happens organically in such a packed crowd and they did not slip on the drip Also wtf is in the water in Melbourne, how does that city produce so many amazing musicians
Hey friend from the Second Hand community! I had no idea these were your videos! I have them on at work all the time. Thanks loads for putting these together!
Lisa !! That’s awesome that you watch the videos at work! 😱 I never really brought it up over there so i don't blame you, it's my fault really 😭♥ It's my little way of giving back to the community
So glad these guys exist, and all this great footage, and all the great fans. The genuine enthusiasm and positivity is great. These guys are insanely creative.
I saw them play Persistence Petaluma 2022 and therefore I'm better than everyone else reading the comments who hasn't got Persistence live and is therefore a lesser acolyte. (/s...?)
I've seen Grim Reaper live at the PNE forum in 2022 and it was just as amazing as was here, Ambrose really throws some energy into the bars during the live performance of the song!
If you know Deep Purple’s live album, Made in Japan, Dripping Tap could kinda be considered their epic end final and equivalent song to Space Tuckin’, and they should save it for last (yeah, I realize you were aligning the songs in album track order here). I hope my wording makes sense
Part of what makes this exciting and cool to me is knowing that there’ll be further edits as new shows keep happening. I think at the very least we’ll see Kepler start to show up regularly and could definitely see the final 3 song suite making its way into rotation.
I'd really like to like these guys but their politics are gross. Why cancel appearances to shows because of certain laws being pushed (usually being misinterpreted)? Punishing your fans as if they can help it.

his nuance he adds to the vocals sound so good
Seeing them rock out to Gaia in drag is just the coolest thing ever
Would have been cooler if they weren’t in drag but yea
@@queenpurple8433 the fuck?
YES AND UNDER THAT FULL MOOON!
i loved that part so much
They'd have been just as good out of drag.
I FUCKING LOVE BEING ABLE TO HEAR LUKE THROUGH THE WHOLE THING HE'S SO MF GROOOOOVY
This version of dripping tap is soooo fuckin gnarly
Update: all of this was phenomenal

this dripping tap is insane man, the whole album is amazing
I love how they respect every genre of music. King Gizzard is one of the greatest bands of all time - for me at least.

"The CAVE!!" 😆 35:59
Christ the dripping tap goes very hard live
THE GRIM REAPER WOW
There is nothing else like this in music today. Appreciation and gratitude for this precious music from this generous band 🙏
This is what Pink Floyd would've sounded like if Syd Barrett would've stayed alive and had full creative control of their sound.
Yeah......NO
You handled the transition from Magenta to Gaia very well; good stuff.

It’s not the water; it’s gotta be the plumbers!
Goood i wanna see them play candles live
This concert venue looks fucking awesome
Ive seen a few shows at the Cavern ... But KGLW makes this venue truly come to life.
love seeing the garden goblin live, has oddly become my favorite song from omnium gatherum over time
Same
Ah, this is awesome! And you get a little taste of all 4 nights
Garden goblin is nuts.

I wish they would have spat some of that gizzrap here in mexico last year

These guys are absolutely insane
Incredibly tight performance for so much nuance

Got Persistence and The River in ATL. I feel the same way. Lol
Least schizo king gizzard fan:
Best Show of the Tour let's FUCK IT!
thanks for this mikeside
cheers mate
🤩🔉🎉Whoa!
Why do they just seem to hit everything right all the time?
Lol the dresses, must be the best choice for performing, Get a good breeze every now and then
Late to the party, but glad I made it. Air tight live🤌🏻
Do I hear some petro draconic riffs all over this?
hey you might like a group called the Doublejumps if you like King Gizz!
The Grim Reaper/Sadie Sorceress performance is a standout! A bit lifeless on the album, great live! Presumptuous is badass too!
I've seen Grim Reaper live at the PNE forum in 2022 and it was just as amazing as was here, Ambrose really throws some energy into the bars during the live performance of the song!
@@ahealthkit2745 Yeah, the forum was a dope one
Thank you for this! It's awesome!
The band that is all bands and none
Awesome work!

36:01 Joey did the FUNNIEST shit this tour. All his little jokes and funny voices get me

It does, there’s some great closers of all time and Dripping Tap has got to be one of em
Dripping tap is one of the greatest songs every written and performed. Closer or not.
These guys are next level. Best "jam band" on the planet.
magenta was rough 💀 much love though
Its crazy how King Gizzards "Rough" still sounds fucking awesome lmao
Great footage and an amazing performance. Kind of a misnomer, though. I was expecting 17 songs!
I'm sorry 😭 I'm trying to manifest them doing an actual full album concert with these videos

OK NOW EDIT KEPLER 22B IN!
Does Stu see color or music?
how'd you get this good quality audio???
Why 4 guitars though?
Why not?
How bout four pianos?
What happened to the second drummer? :c
He left the band amicably in 2020 to go focus on managing his record label
@@themikesidegood to know it was in good terms. Cavs looks so lonely playing in the back by himself :') haha
