@@clavelluro thank you so very much. I’m still debating it. I was offered it at the VA hospital and I’m trying to make a decision between the AMS 700 and the Coloplast Titan series.
One of my concerns was that they said they had to remove the two cavernous channels all the way, so it’s irreversible.
      2. I was concerned about losing length and girth. I just happen to be well endowed and I wasn’t trying to give up any of my territory, if you understand what I mean .
      3. I was told that the tip would not be able to get firm and maybe with the use of Viagra I could get some firmness.
      4. I’m not sure how many of these operations the VA has done or even if they outsource it to someone else.
Any direction would be grateful. Thank you again again for the wonderful video!
If you know, a way that I can outsource the surgery to you, I will be more than willing and grateful!
I had another question, would I be able to use the vacuum pump after the implant? I was thinking about keeping the rest of my penis healthy, but I didn’t want to take a risk or damaging the implant either.

I have the coloplast titan one touch and I have “dog ears” when it’s deflated/flaccid. Does that do any damage to the cylinders overtime?

Good day Dr Clavell. But the shaft is also cold after the surgery? Why is it so and what can be done to eliminate this bad condition? Thanks.

This video addressed my biggest reservation with an implant. I had radical prostatectomy, and then radiation treatment the following year. I am currently trying a mix of sildenafil, Trimix and constriction ring after pump for sexual activity. The implant seems like it would make everything easier. I was worried about cold glans with implant as I have lost size already with what I have been through. I am a Houstonian, and will be 65 at the end of the year. Does Medicare cover the procedure?

Dr. C. I just celebrated the 1 year anniversary of my implant with you. Couldn’t be happier! I was numb in the lower shaft and scrotum for months, but am back to 100% now. Good glans engorgement when aroused, as you said.
Can you make a video addressing spongiosum engorgement as well? I found in those early months especially that my erect penis had a somewhat more oval shape than the original. Commonly reported on Franktalk.
This has improved over time and when fully aroused the glans and underside look (and feel) much better.
Finally. Do men with veinous leakage tend to lose glans engorgement at the accelerated rate that happened in the cavernosum? I do take cialis occasionally to facilitate engorgement but wonder if this is a thing.

Dr. C. If you read this, can you answer a question please? When you did my implant you had to trim the tubing somewhat. I assume that a crimp was placed on the tubing where you had to cut. Now, to attain maximum hardness and size I have to squeeze that bulb REALLY hard (2 handed, forcefully). I am concerned about the stress i'm placing on the crimp-point, which i suspect might be a prime location for potential failure. So, how strong IS that crimp?

You mentioned using a vacuum pump and constriction device for cold glans. Would/could this damage the implant? TIA

I had penile implant a little over 15 years ago. I never had erectile dysfunction, I was always able to have an erection, but I had Peyronies disease and the curvature prevented successful intercourse. I have never been happy with the results of the device. The device does make my penis somewhat hard, but never hard enough to have successful intercourse. I was told that the device was working as intended and nothing could be done to improve my lack of hardness. I was given Viagra but that never helped. I believe that my device consists of only one tube and it appears that the current devices have two tubes. Is it possible that the current device could improve my results?

5 weeks it is still early to heal.
Imagine an athlete asking the surgeon (5weeks after an ankle surgery) that it hurts when he jumps. Discuss with your surgeon, but you are still healing.

You didn't answer my one question:
Can a cold penis tip lead to health problems or anything I should be afraid of?

I feel like there is some unproven connection between glans engorgement and the prostate and seminal vesicles having more semen built up inside of them (or maybe it's just the vesicles?) I have pretty bad e.d . and I know if I ejaculate several times in a day my glans gets colder and I have a more difficult time with engorgement during masturbation. However if I rest my penis for a week or two I get much better engorgement.
I've also noticed a trend on Franktalk with men with IPP's that have had their prostate removed having issues with cold glans. It's as if there is a connection between tired or removed sexual glands and a cold glans...but maybe is a case of correlation doesn't equal causation
Great video. If you were closer to Illinois I would get an implant with you, but I'm hoping to get one with Dr Levine this summer and he's also a legend

Remember that when a prostate gets removed for cancer, the urethra is cut and reconnected to the bladder. That could theoretically affect blood flow going through the urethra and up to the glans which could explain what you have read in forums.
