RA not at his best visibly struggling to keep pace with AEG. Without a doubt AEG is playing a much superior game. But then comes the third game and he begins to show his mettle. And then he keeps a tired AEG busy for the next three games. And what sportsman he is with his"round of applause" for AEG comment, great man
Absolutely insane. The shots, the stamina, the speed, the comeback. All awesome :') Will definitely have to get a sub soon as well as find some tickets to my first squash game haha
If anyone should be called "The Quadfather" it should definitely be Yip Tsz Fung!! (also, @psa you guys have his name the wrong way around, Yip is the surname and should be read first - thus Yip Tsz Fung rather than Tsz Fung Yip)
Really hoping he moves up the rankings too; like the other top Hong Kong players he always seems relaxed and humble on court with a nice all-round game.
both players playing a similar style of squash - hunting the kills and volleys … super quick and super entertaining… influenced a whole generation of players - Asal has taken over from these two (2024) in this approach. if it wasn’t Ashour/Gawad, Abouelghar could’ve tried longer rallies and more straight drives in the 5th game 🤷🏽♂️ to reduce his fatigue-based errors … but Ramy being Ramy was hunting, so attrition wasn’t on the cards. these days Farag has mastered the no-errors-in-the-5th-game … maybe he learnt from this generation as to how to adjust your game when it goes to 5 🤷🏽♂️
Ramy was playing poorly here. Too slow and his touch wasn’t there. He was much better vs Shorbagy last week eventhough he lost. A better match would be Ali Farag vs Shorbagy as they were both playing well at the same time
The commentators are absolutely terrible! They talk of anything besides whats happening on the court. At 4-2 they make a comment about a shot, then starts blabbering again about something complete different to whats happening on the court. We are looking at the match, comment whats going on at the court - take your rubbish nonsens-talk after the match!
And Ashour won it wow..... Abouelghar was in his peak first 2 games. Crazy tight drop shots and those light speed cross court slams.
I was rooting for Abouelghar in the third game. He deserved to win it right then and there.
This Upload Really made me happy 🤚🏻 Bless u Psa
Great match! Play commences just after 6:00
Peter Eedy thx
So glad that post match interview was included. Thanks SQUASHTV.
Wow! thanks a lot. Just watching how they both swing (kind of similarly, I must add) I improved my own swing. Loved this game.
49:35 Ramy is smiling almost laughing. Love it.
Take a drink every time they pronounce "Abouelghar " differently
Ramy is just fun to watch
WoW, What a game!
"loose as a goose" beat that!! . Nice commentatory
34:15 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
"Elgar - fantastic writer of music" -- very true!

Five games, 65 minutes and not one backswing between them...
Finely reffed game

The interviewer at the end of the game - stiletto heels on the squash court - she should know better!
Abouelghar played much better, Ramy seems like he is not in the mood.

Awful commentators, chatting abt everything else other than the match.
So many errors, not worthy of a final.
So many people sitting there ...nobody wearing a mask
... in 2017
@@squashtv Those were good times indeed
