Recorded live at The Gathering in Hamar, Norway, on the 26th of March, 2016.
Many thanks to the amazing crew at The Gathering for everything: camera & video work, visuals, lighting & audio! And especially thank you for the amazing stage!
The song was performed using only analog synthesizers, either played live or sequenced. The performance was recorded directly from the mixer to a stereo track and later mixed together with the ambience from the arena. A couple of bum notes were cut out and replaced with rehearsal takes.
Equipment used in this song: Roland Alpha Juno 1&2, Juno 60, TR-808; Alesis Andromeda A6, Korg Mono/poly, Polysix, Poly 61; Jomox AirBase99, Touched-by-sound DRM1, Oberheim Matrix 1000, DSI Tetra, Akai MPC2500 (only for MIDI sequencing), Yamaha 01V96, Lexicon MPX1, MPX500, MPX550 as well as a midi patchbay and additional preamps for my mixer.

This guy and the sound that comes out of his playing are truly something else... Why on earth has this not got more exposure? We still have Rick Wakeman with us and we lost Keith Emerson and Jon Lord, all wizards and masters of the electronic sound media and now we have Kebu joining their esteemed playing ranks. He is up there with them. believe it.. I don't think I have ever seen a musician so immersed in what he is playing. He is totally absorbed in what he does. The closest was Keith Emerson of ELP in the 1970's. Get yourself a good manager and more exposure and you could conquer the world with this type of music Kebu . There is a lot of crap and utter rubbish in the music world populated by people who just want to be famous. They have little talent or no talent , you have more than made up for it. You have talent let that be no mistake. When are you coming to the UK. There are a lot of us would pay good money to come to one of your concerts...
The Guy is very humble too, if you ever comment on his breakdown videos He always replies top bloke.

Here is my little story that I don´t think anyone reads, but I feel the need to tell it.
My dream when I was a kid was to become this guy. I was obsessed with The KLF, Jean Michelle Jarre, Michael Cretu, and all the classic synthesizer artists. When I was 14, my parents bought me a really expensive keyboard at that time (Korg N364), and I barely could sleep for years, all nights composing, lots of ideas boiling, hundreds of unfinished songs because when I was in the middle of one suddenly another idea came. I started to take piano lessons a few years later because I wanted. By that time I had been playing self taught, just by listening, it was normal to me. They said that my level was like 3d year, that I had talent, especially because I was lazy. I mean, they gave me songs to study and after 15 minutes, I started to compose again, for hours and hours, or just improvise. And the next day I came to the school with my own ideas and the teacher didn´t know if to nag me or to kiss me.
I don´t know what happened, but, I lost it. I lost my motivation. Maybe because my family is not very wealthy, and I couldn´t save money for more equipment, because that keyboard was not the most powerful (very nice at imitating acoustic instruments, because digital sound was a boom when I bought it, but a serious lack of the analog sound that I was looking for). Besides, some factors in my life... I don´t know, but I quit. And now at 42 years old, I look at that keyboard, covered with a blanket since more than 15 years, and it terrifies me. I feel that I am incapable of playing anything. I can´t even remember how to use the features, like the sequencer. I don´t know if someday I´ll take it again. It´s funny how sometimes I tap with my fingers without noticing it, "playing" the famous riff from the Sentinel by Mike Oldfield. It´s something automatic. Something remains...
A bit sad, but anyway, I love this music, and live performances like these. I have just discovered this artist and this channel, and it reminds me of my youth dreams. And that is happy :)

Unfortunately your story is very common, people who love music until life came in, and you find yourself with no time and especially no energies left for the craft... I often think that somewhere, in some little town, lives the new Bach or the new Shakespeare of music, but because "life came in" he didn't make it.
We assume that to be realized you need to be famous and staff, but I disagree completly, happiness lies in a very different place. You can be happy playing by yourself maybe even more than the famous singer of the day. I only want to give you a little advice, don't be terrified by that keyboard, I know it represent what you think is your failure, but it's not! Start playing music for yourself again and I can assure you will find a bundle of happiness, beneath that blanket you forgot existed! music is always therapeutic, it can cure more than we think!!
