Thank you! I can’t believe it’s almost done! I’m glad it is because: 1) I get to finally play it! And 2) I have some other neat projects lined up to do next!
I absolutely adore this project. I completely understand "real artist talk" even though I am no real artist. You are doing wonderful piece. Unique where there's no "right way", only what you feel is right. Saying that did you consider to make on a lid the same graphic you made on the back of the cards? Engrave it to have this nice logo on top?
Great seeing the progress on this. I had the game when I was a kid and wish I kept it, but I bought the new one to play with my kids, still not the same though. Those 90 degree angle clamps are cool. Are they part of the workbench setup? Also, what is the brand of the pin nailer. All your tool recommendations have been goldmines I never knew I needed.
Aloha! I think the clamps you are asking about are these: Kreg KBCIC In-Line Clamp and the EXCELLENT pin nailer is the Milwaukee M12 12-Volt 23-Gauge Lithium-Ion Cordless Pin Nailer I love both tools!
Someday! Hopefully someday soon - I’d love to play the game this winter. It’s been sitting in the studio quietly waiting for me to finish it - I’ve just been working most weekends lately on ceramics stuff to make up for lost time to Covid and client projects.
I don't think those pin nails are design to support any weight or stress to speak of. That being said, your joints are so tight, it's probably fine to assemble this without glue. You did a fantastic job. It pays to have great tools!
"whoooh whuuuh whuh. bam. whuhhh whoooh whuh." 9:06 Sound effects while working make EVERYTHING more awesome!
It’s true!
I just found your videos today. I have been binge watching the fireball island videos. Extremely motivational.
Thanks
Stoked you found me! Are you working on a fireball board as well?
Seeing you finally finish this project is so awesome to me.
It’s not quite done yet - sooooo close! 😂
I love building crates for things. Loved following this.
Thanks! I gotta admit, as always, as soon as I finished I wanted to make another (even better) crate 😂
Love it! Those graphics would make great stickers!
Thank you!
thank you so much for you vid's. love them so much. I hope to one day remember why I loved ceramics.
Thank you for watching! Ceramics is always an adventure 😅
You need to sell the stamps as stickers...the VanTiki salvage stamp is outstanding. Can't wait for the next episode.
Thanks! Most of the stamps are from the packaging of the first few mugs we made. Also several were passport stamps at Tiki Kon 🌋
Everything looks great! Looking forward to the finished product.
You and me both! Cant wait to play it!
It’s looking awesome - another great video!!!!
Thank you so much!
Exciting!! So close to being finished, though i wouldn't mind another 20 of these episodes. Great work again!

Wonderful! I am so excited and also kinda sad to watch the last episode. Nice work!!
It won’t be sad - I’ve got some great next projects lined up!
I'm available to come over and play once you've finished this beautiful project. 👍🙂
Deal!
@@vantikistudio I call the red player!
Hot damn that Tung oil finish looks nice on it
Yeah, it really brought out a beautiful glow from the wood
I love this series so much. Always such a treat to see a new video has dropped!
Thank you so much!! I can’t believe it’s almost finished!
I like your island of fire!!. Also you are very handsome.🥰
Ha! Thank you so much!

That just may find its way into the plank that is removable from the top 🔥
You are a marvel
I hope when you're done, you will create a video with all the episodes compiled.

Just got back to watching these last few episodes. I see this one was from 6 months ago. Are we still going to see the final episode?

I wonder if the staves would have worked on the interior edge just as a little lip.
That’s a great idea! Didn’t think of that.
If it's any consolation I thought you did it on purpose because it sound like an-TIKI-ties!!! 😁😁😁
Ha! Believe it or not, I’ve been using that stamp for almost 10 years (!) and only last week did someone catch the error 😂

Thank you! I figured putting the nails in alternating angles would give a bit of a mechanical bond - so far it’s held up well 🤞
I have missed you.
Hope to post more often! We had a project in the studio that we need to keep under wraps for a bit.
