Took me about 3 weeks to make the whole thing, hope you all enjoyed!
Perhaps I'll make some other chapter animations, or maybe recap of Luffy vs Kaido, not sure yet though. Enjoy :)

Yet, he himself goes for the one piece, told Kidd that either he gave up his poneglyph or risk facing him. When Kidd was defiant (like he had been towards Big mom and kaido), he one shot him ruthlessly. Even when his crew was ready to give up and surrender, he showed no mercy and just exterminated them. Defiance and rebellion towards higher authority was the hallmark of new generation surpassing the old, yet shanks thinks Kidd was the villain for doing the same thing that he did to big mom and kaido. Even Blackbeard was nicer towards law when he said that he believed law, Kidd and luffy would defeat big mom and kaido.

People are clowning on kidd but don't stop to think why shanks got serious. He saw with his observation haki the kind of damage kidd will do if he didn't take him seriously and put him down. He was one shot not because he was weak, he was one shot because he was a threat to his ships and allies, not himself. but to those under his protection. Instead of fooling around, he took action as damned punk is a powerful attack. No point in letting him fire. Only Shank's core crew will survive it. Straw hats is a yonko crew now, people like zoro and sanji can tank it, but usopp? No chance, he can even take out quite a few of the grand fleet too. He was one shot by one of the strongest character in one piece, possibly shank's haki rivaling roger himself.

Shanks is the epitome of the glass Canon , he definitely does the most damage out of the emperor and is the deadliest but I don't think he has that big mom kaido durability.

@@edricczthe worst generation stayed a week in wano. And then kidd pirates reached elbaf possibly after a week or 2. A months worth of time should be quiet enough for a 3 billion berry guy. Especially considering the sniper of red hair pirates stated kidd looked healthy and recovered. Oda drew and wrote yassops statement to make that clear to the readers obviously.

@@edriccz tbh oda has really built big mom to be stomped on. In most situations she is always weakened by either her personality or circumstances. She is strong but the storyline so far has not allowed us to see her max without restraints from oda

Damn this was clean! The way the paper appears in Shanks hand is hilariously accurate. I forgot the name of the character right now but they have an interesting Devil Fruit ability, I pictured them swooping in after to takes Kids Damned Punk like they were Megaman and teleport out before the To Be Continued like it was the end of a level.

The reason why Shanks easily managed to defeat Kid was because Kid was overconfident, ignorant, and not quite levelheaded. Plus, he was not even that equal enough to match Shank’s strength.

Saw someone calling Shanks a glass cannon compared to Kaido/Big mon and if that's true this is a pretty funny fight between two glass cannons. He saw kid was going to do some severe damage so he just launched a serious attack and kid got one shot so it's pretty easy to call kid a glass cannon. (Since his attacking power is a LOT greater than his defense apparently)

The biggest reason that Kid lost was because he thought he was still fighting someone lime Kaido/Big Mom. They'll sit and tank attacks from Law/Kid/Luffy/Zoro, even though it may hurt them, but it's in their nature. Shanks is weaker, duh, he's a regular sized human. So he capitalized on Kid charging up his atk that probably could've wiped out some of his crew.
TL;DR: Shanks isn't going to let Kid charge up a potentially fatal attack.

The moment Shanks goes towards Kidd to finish him, he senses a great danger and asks every one to move away because he could sense the damage Kidd can cause for his fleet. Shanks by far the best Haki powers despite being a non devil fruit user.

Shanks didn't carry a weapon on him at the time when he saved Luffy and also Shank's main priority was to save Luffy and not himself. Which resulted in the sea king biting off his arm. But yeah I consider it to be a small plot hole as Oda didn't even come up with Haki until a lot later.

Its because Kid was the aggressor in this scenario. Shanks stopped Greenbull because Luffy and the rest were still recovering. Shanks knew that Kid would not back off no matter what he did and also the fact that Kid was charging up a huge ass laser that would cause massive damage to his crew. Which resulted in the Divine Departure to the face.
