Extra Spicy Kung Pao Prawns

- Kung Pao Prawns is a very flavorful dish usually available in Chinese restaurants but now you can prepare it in the comfort of your home. We made this extra spicy for spicy food lovers but feel free to omit or lessen the chili peppers and this will surely become your kids’ favorite prawn dish.
INGREDIENTS
Prawns and Marinade:
1 kilogram prawns, peeled and washed
½ tablespoon Shaoxing cooking wine
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon white ground pepper
1 egg
1 tablespoon potato starch or cornstarch
Sauce:
1½ tablespoons soy sauce
1½ tablespoons Shaoxing cooking wine
1½ tablespoons granulated sugar
1½ tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1½ teaspoons potato starch
Other Ingredients:
2 cups potato starch
cooking oil for frying and sautéing
¼ cup (10 grams) dried chili peppers
6 cloves garlic, peeled
1 white onion, peeled
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon chili garlic oil (optional)
¼ cup fried peanuts
