Close Calls In The Wet (One Very)

- As I was leaving the Great Yarmouth Takeover (many thousands of bikes there btw) this car crossed my path, just to jump into a parking space. Rather than slow down and do it safely, from the correct lane, and indicating in plenty of time and considering the weather (in the dry this may have been just an annoying slightly close call). They had not long before moved over to the left lane, so I obviously assume they will stay there, they then did this while obviously not aware of their surroundings or looking out for one of the many thousands of bikes. Watching it back is very different to how it looked to me, I was convinced I was experiencing my first crash, that there was nothing I could do but slide into the car.
I think part of the initial shock was also due to actually stopping and not hitting it or even falling from the slide (witch is also not really noticeable from the camera footage). Let me know your thoughts from the video's perspective below, ride safe bike friends 😎👌
Then a fairly close call where a poor woman broke down on an obscured part of a busy roundabout on a Dual Carriageway, that was a surprise lol.
I know people say it all the time, but it is true that fisheye lenses really do not show quite how close things actually are as they distort the image, cameras do not see things we see or as we see them anyway (mainly detail/distant objects), everyone who does a lot of filming knows how different it is.

I kind of have no thoughts then I see something like this, I usually stall if in dangerous situation, that's why I don't drive. But I do swear...like a teamster as they say here..🤦♀️🤷😎 Ride safe!🙋🤗💙
I almost gave up doing anything as I was so sure it was my first crash, so glad I did not. I think I would have been fine, it's more the stress and the damage to the bike I'd be bothered about I think and getting home 😊👍
What a place to break down on a roundabout
I had a couple of close ones the other day but haven’t uploaded them
They don’t look close due to the field view but it was twitching bum time 😂
I know mate, that poor woman looles so scared standing there in the rain too. It's a little annoying that the camera does not show these moments as you do. If you're not going to upload them to RUclips, maybe put them on Instagram? RSM

I think I uploaded it the same day mate. Weather conditions and quite recent change to single lane (you can see old lines at the beginning) did not help in the slightest. It was probably changed a few years back but I go up there much less than I did in my boy racer days 😁
Poor woman stuck on that roundabout, such a dodgy spot to break down. It was a little bit of a shock to see that as I went round, probably lucky it was raining for that, for all the bikes out that day (many thousand from all over) as we tend to be more careful on bends and roundabouts in the wet lol

I know it's crazy, but you'd think they'd be more cautious on a day when there are literally thousands of us bikers just down the road. I was so convinced I was crashing I even pictured it and accepted it as this was happening lol, luckily my steel steed listened to me :) RSM
