Glad that they fixed the “aquatic prey-eating Masiakasaurus” paleoart meme for Season 2. And yes, that’s a paleoart meme, and there are a number of anatomical reasons to assume it was a burrowing animal specialist instead.
Why not both? The paleo-environment of the Maevarano Formation was a highly seasonal; it's very possible that a specialized predator such as Masiakasaurus would change its diet depending on the time of year
Masiakasaurus is hands down my favorite dinosaur because LOOK AT THOES TEETH, they look so odd, and also cool, it's a shame it is so under represented in media.
I sailed it before on the original version last year, I'll say it again on the Extended Edition version. I heard about those Madagascan Dinosaurs. Hmm… Last time I recalled they had Buck teeth sticking out in the front of their mouths. What? I’ve seen one of those Masiakasaurus in & on some books about Dinosaurs. Mostly one of those Hardcover Books. But it’s great to see a Masiakasaurus making a live action appearance in a Documentary on Dinosaurs. They haven’t been seen in the Media since Dinosaur Train. 0:20 & 2:56 Hmmm. These look like the same identical close up scenes only they’re a year apart from each other. 3:58 This new Masiakasaurus must be a Male.

If there was one theropod Mr. Krabs’ ancestors would have had to fear, it would definitely have to be Masiakasaurus.
Indeed.

Well it might have ocationally eaten sea-food if it had the opportunity.

Interesting, they just mirrored the image and saturated the colors xD
They sort of did the same thing with the _Mosasaurus_ in "Oceans"
@@ZachDy-xg9it yeah, howerver it was more noticeable in the Mosa, they didn't even bother with the saturation or color grading
Reminds me of how they shortened the episodes in season 2. Cheap bastards…
Something about this dino, that makes me feel it's a perfect dino as a pet.
Also babies are so adorable. I feel sad for that one.
The Devil Toad.

4:26 poor guy is probably traumatised from the death of his brother
Nice headcanon
@@Turtleform thanks
Maybe it's the only one left from that clutch of three, with its other sibling having been eaten by Madtsoia
Masiakasaurus has never seen such bullfrog before
This is the first time masiakasaurus was depicted with lips instead of having its front teeth (aka the Bucktooth) exposed
Unfortunately.

Cool theropods wonder tho is it just me or are they small or maybe their were always this small

Agreed. They butchered its design so badly.
