I really hope that Monarchs continue to get support into the future. It's incredibly refreshing to have an archetype centered on Tribute Summoning (And no, I do not count Floo) decently powerful monsters. Plus, it's the first deck I've ever built. Would recommend dropping a couple Edea for Linkslayer, and adding in Mithra the Thunder Vassal as well. I also like using the Monarchs Awaken just so I can keep a 2800 beater on the board without having to worry about anything that can pop it through Erupt or March.
@@CANWEGETMUCHHIGHERRRR True Draco primarily tributes spells/traps instead of monsters, and there is no deck in existence that normal summons as many times as that stupid birb does. They're basically just special summoning at that point.
Hope so too, also nice to see that the archetype that carried me to my one small local tournament win back during the days of Synchro summons has plenty of kick in these days of Pendulums and Links.
Erebus' animation is the coolest for me. I pulled for this deck despite knowing its not close to the best, but I really want to make it work just cuz of Erebus lol
Monarch is my very first deck i ever build in master duel before changing and dismantling to made other decks I remember how it use to carry me up to gold and almost enter diamond, sadly i got hit on the knee by the old metas such as golden boi,disco ball,D.D banish time bomb and long*ss combo of invoke dogmatika( i felt like more than 15 min have pass when they still keep summoning)
It awesome archetypes like this show not every deck you make needs to use cards in the extra deck just watch out for rituals, dogmatika, labrynth, and other cards that can remove other cards from the field. I started liking monarchs more when I played the solo gate of the monarch story when the game first came out.
I made this deck and I like the premise but I wish there was a way to protect the spells and traps. Maybe a blue eyes jet but for monarchs would be nice and make this deck really good

The support card for floowandereeze helps this deck out as well though the one that lets you tribute the other guys card as well

Can anyone explain how the tribute summon (with only one card) at 8:35 works?
First duel was just surprising dude summoned all those cards and you just get rid of them with 2 cards

Monarchs need a monster with negate effect. This archetype is very vulnerable to backrow wipes unfortunately.
